If your looking for a clean room and a bed this is perfect. Some of the fixtures weren't in great shape but we spent very little time in our room so it didn't bother us at all. The need was clean and comfy. If we went back to do sigh seing we would definatley book it as its close to King's Cross. Staff were super helpful.

Good location close to King's Cross. Rooms are very tired. I was unlucky to get a basement room. Windows didn't open and it was smelly. Poor sound isolation from Street - could hear traffic rumbling past. Bed was missing a leg so was on an angle! Not a great way to spend £170! Avoid if possible! Oh and a creepy view from the basement window (see photo).

Proximity to King's Cross Station is excellent. Rooms were fine. No hot breakfast items. There's a bar but very limited options and fridge didn't seem to work as drinks weren't cold. Some of the staff were great, others not so good.

It has been said before, but the rooms are very loud due to the proximity to the train tracks. This would perhaps be am acceptable flaw, since you know what you sign up for staying so close to the station. However, if you would be inclined to close the windows to reduce the noise, the rooms then become very hot as there is no AC. We travelled with a baby and the staff were very kind to offer us a room in the basement, which was quieter and cooler. But we had to go down several flights of stairs carrying all our luggage and the pram as the lift does not go to that floor. The location is ideal, though, if you require easy access to King’s Cross and there are plenty of restaurants around catering for all tastes.

Personally, not for me. My room was pretty awful. Really hot, no a/c, just a desk fan. Window opened a slither so you couldn't get any fresh air in, and it overlooked the train line so you had train noise every couple of minutes until the early hours, then starting again around 6am, so no way you can leave the window open and sleep.Close the window and you still hear the trains, but tolerable.Location is decent, quieter traffic street but still close to kings cross.Check in & out were painless. Not sure what it's like in the cooler months, but if you don't mind sleeping in high temps you might be ok. If not, steer clear.

The room itself was relatively clean. It could do with an update as it seemed dated and had a few scuff marks on the walls, as most hotels of a maturing age do. Basics of hand wash and hand gel. Coffee could do with updating as it was cheap, but we get that most hotels are like this. Our room didn’t face the street so was lovely and quiet! No air con so we had a desk fan that was very loud. Not for the lightest of sleepers and the bathroom light is very bright if your partners is trying to sneak the the toilet at night!Overall absolutely fine for a place to lay your head in a central location.

Staff and manager were very accommodating, friendly and helpful.Room was okay. Could do with better cleaning as it was dusty and we could still see stuff left from previous guests (sequins from clothes for example), one new towel was not clean.Beds were very comfy and clean.Very convenient if you're travelling via King's Cross Station. We used early check-in and late checkout. Worked well for us. We booked a room for 3 persons.

Great location, nice staff but not a hotel I want to stay at ever again.Rooms were dirty! Stuff down the side of the room chair. Noticed the following day I had itchy bite marks on my legs. I hope it wasn’t bed bugs. Been meticulously checking my luggage since but still have itchy marks 4 days following. Pay the extra money and go elsewhere!!

A few minutes walk from the main line stations. Rooms very comfortable. Apart from the pleasant check in didn't use any of the hotel's services.
