We only did from hawthorn beach to easington colliery along the cliff tops.the views along the tops were beautiful. At first we went down on to the beach at hawthorn dene. It must have been about 20 years since the last time we had been down. It's not the easiest beach to get to , but it was worth it. After about an hour we walked back up to the pathway by going under the viaduct .

I love to walk along the cliff top and admire the scenery at anytime of the year. It is also a great place for my dog to stretch his legs and have a play with his animal friends without disturbing anyone. This area is very popular with locals and a lot of foreign visitors.

This is a truly wonderful area, well set up and prepared for walkers and richly supplied with wonderful scenery. There are many places for taking in lovely coastal views if you just want to visit without completing any of the coastal walk (but do walk it if you can). There are seats here and there for a rest and perhaps some quiet contemplation. We encountered some of the very friendly locals.

Beautiful beaches and the most friendly people you will ever meet. Great towns to explore and the famous Tommy statue is just so thought provoking. Parking is cheap.

I am reluctant to praise this area as it's a natural gem and I dont want to risk increasing footfall!! I live 2 minutes from this glorious spot and walk my dog here every day, it's so peaceful and beautiful, combination of coast and ancient dene with a nesting area of little terns. It's my happy place

One of the best days I've ever had on the north east Coast exploring new parts and areas. Walked from Easington to Seaham and then the return. Thoroughly enjoyable but after nearly 5 hours of walking thoroughly exhausted..
