We couldn’t have found anyone better for my sisters wedding! The bride and bridal gang were very well looked after. The quality of Irfan’s own brand make up was amazing, not only was the make up looks he created spectacular, but lasted all night. Definitely recommend for your special day x

I was a bride in October and always wanted to my hair and make up done from Irfan. Been following his page for years and finally the day came. This review is so over due but can I just say that I probably had one of the best experiences in my entire life! I didn’t doubt him one bit and trusted the process the minute I stepped foot in there. As soon as I arrived the staff were so welcoming and friendly and very professional. I was seen on time as booked, had my hair washed and started with make up first. He is such a character and so bubbly and genuine, I was already nervous for my big day to start and he really let that go away with all the laughter we had in this process. He listened to everything I wanted, all the small details I had asked for he paid attention to. I’m not one that wears heavy make up and made that very clear to him. I did have a picture on hand to show him and he worked with that alongside the small details I had asked for and honestly he really delivered!He made me feel so comfortable in the process (as I already had so many nerves for the wedding) and it all naturally went away. The attention to detail was crazy to me and to see his work in person and on me was amazing! Felt like a dream come true, I adore his work and believe he is so beyond talented and his work isn’t like any other. Personally it’s very hard to find a good salon with bridal services in London especially the reviews I have heard from others and honestly so glad I had chose him as I knew I always would have anyway. I trusted him, he listened to what I wanted and also added his own recommended touches which I loved.A lot of brides hate their photos after the wedding but honestly the compliments I received from the wedding day as well as my photos were insane - still can’t believe it’s me and how beautiful he made me look! My husband teared up the minute he saw me haha (the reaction I was expecting when you know something is right) and surprisingly towards the end of the night my make up didn’t budge one bit! Irfan used his branded make up on me as well as other brands which were absolutely flawless on the skin and surprised me so much that it didn’t come off one bit.I just want to say thank you to the whole team and Irfan himself for being so professional but yet such a lovely and bubbly person and made me so comfortable and pleased with my results. I’m so grateful for this day it’s a memory I’ll always cherish. Not all brides start their day off in a smooth manner but for me it started perfectly and ended so perfectly as well!Thank you so much for making me feel like such a beautiful bride on such a memorable day for me and really see the future is bright for you all - sending lots of love. :)

ABSOLUTE RIP OFF! Got told £150 then went to pay & charged me £210!!!They con and target young girls out of money and are very aware whose first time at the salon it is - seeing first timers as vulnerable people who they CON. Thought £150 wasn’t too bad so agreed to go ahead with makeup as well as hair.Owner CHOSE to do my makeup - telling me the other 2 artists were “tired” (how am I meant to know who he is and that he charges extra - being my first ever time there I did not know he was the owner!!!) then charged me EXTRA for his service even though the other makeup artists (they charge less) were clearly available! HE TARGETED ME I DID NOT CHOOSE HIM!! Charged me extra £20 for lashes in which I did not ask for. Got told to “close my eyes” - then applied them. They do not explain to customers how much extras cost but still apply them anyway! I was in such a rush running late therefore did not have time to dispute but PLEASE BE CAREFUL OF THIS PLACE!!! Also, lots of damage to my hair as they use TONS of hairspray leaving my hair very hard, unmanageable and destroyed. Makeup however, was excellent. Overall, PLEASE AVOID.

I can’t explain how happy I am with my experience at Choppy Cut. Such a clean, pretty salon and very polite staff. Irfan is an angel. So polite, so professional and really does magic with his hair and makeup. I wouldn’t hesitate to book him again for my events.

My sister has been here very recently to get some hair styling and make up done. the day that was planned and ment to happen did not happen as this place caused a disaster.This place has not got an idea of a price list as they seem to make up prices as they go along whilst you’re being done for example eye lashes , hair styling etc. The hair spray that was used destroyed my sisters hair which left a burning smell for at least 3 days. Baring in mind she had to wash it same day as it was causing irritation! The Smell of hair was definitely not pleasant! If I could rate this a ZERO points or stars I definitely would do that! This has caused stress to the day as it needed to be rectified also more money spent for treatment else were to at least mask the damaged hair and smell. DO NOT USE AS YOU WILL BE LEFT SKINT AND WILL REGRET AS THE DAMAGE THEY CAUSE TO YOUR WALLET FOR NO APPARENT REASON

Words cannot explain my satisfaction with my hair balayage!! I had went into the salon with such dull and boring hair and said to Irfan, I believe in you and I trust you. The results was beyond amazing I was speechless! I left the salon with such a beautiful, elegant colour, cut and my blow dry! I absolutely loved it, I was smiling throughout my whole journey back home! The magic man, Irfan Sumbul - you and your team are amazing, thank you for having me over today! The most amazing salon, team and man!

My sister in law got bridal hair and make up here and we also attended, from start to finish the staff and their service was beyond amazing. Irfan was very caring, and made sure every single one of us left happy. Mel the receptionist was also fantastic, making sure we were all out by the time we needed to be and doing the last check ups before we left to make sure each and every one of us left satisfied. Choppy cut is a hairdresser everyone can book without a doubt at all as you will leave very happy.Thank you Irfan & all staff for the perfect hospitalityAll staff and atmosphere is great.

Probably the worst salon I’ve been too I’d give 0 starsCharged me £390 for front simple highlights and haircut,customer service was horrible as they would forget about me at the sink whilst they have a chat or smoke,would pull my hair so badly and made me stay there for 6+ hours.Not to mention the hair looked NOTHING like what I’ve wanted money down the drain +never gave my the haircut.NEVER GOING BACK!

I contacted Irfan few weeks before my wedding and I was grateful he was able to fit me in despite his busy schedule.Irfan did a spectacular job! - I have mixed facial features with slight oriental shaped eyes and it is very hard to find a make up artist who understands my facial features and does good makeup that suits my face. Irfan is a wizard who can work wonders on any kind of face !I don’t usually wear a lot of makeup and lashes usually and Irfan took this into account and ensured I still looked like myself on my special day.He went out of his way by travelling three hours outside London to get me ready for my special and also helped my family members get ready at no extra charge.He is a master at his craft and would highly recommend Irfan for your wedding day makeup.It was such a joyful experience on the whole and I felt so special, I'll remember it forever. :-)

The best place ever! Irfan done my bridal hair and make up and I could not thank him enough. My hair and makeup did not budge one bit even though I had 2 events in one day (registry and henna party). The service is excellent! Thank you so much Irfan and his lovely team xxxx
