The training I received was excellent, everything I needed to know was explained.I wouldn't recommend to anyone to try this sport without the proper training, a lot can go wrong and fast. I am now confident to go out and practice safely.

I sent an email to them asking some fairly simple questions about how the SUP rental worked, wanting to try before I bought, if I needed to book in advance or just turn up on a good day, what sizes and models they had for rentals etc. After a few days I didn't get a reply to my email so I gave them a call. The guy I spoke to on the phone said all the T&Cs were on the website, I said I couldn't see that information and then he hung up on me. Anyway I paid for a rental online not really knowing what to expect. I got an automated email saying that they would contact me when it was ready for collection. After a couple of weeks they hadn't contacted me and still had my money. I should have chased up sooner but was busy/away for a week in that time. I called them up again and they gave me a refund without being difficult about it so that was good at least. Maybe it's just not worth their time to rent out a single board for a day and I'm sure the in-store experience is better but my experience wasn't great as someone trying to get into a new hobby. In the end I tried and bought a board and equipment somewhere else.

Took part in my first lesson with Jake last week, had a fantastic lesson and got up riding for the first time ever!! What a buzz. I have had previous lessons in Tarifa (Spain) and my experience with SkyMonster was far superior. Jake's vast experience came through in the lesson, plenty of attention to the small details and safety focused. I can definitely see myself going back throughout my journey, not just for getting up and riding. Highly recommend.

As a novice paddle boarder with 1 group session with another provider under my belt, Jake took me to a new level in a 1 to 1 session. His guidance had me standing and paddling in a few minutes albeit still shaky but as I relaxed on the board I felt much more comfortable. His explanations of what I was doing wrong were simply explained enabling me adjust accordingly. I really cannot express fully just how valuable I found this session with Jake and can’t wait to practise on my own before booking a more advanced session in a few weeks. I only write reviews when I experience something exceptional - this was exceptional and I totally recommend Jake and his team if you are considering lessons.

These guys are absolutely amazing, the experience they all have is not only vast, but they instruct it brilliantly. The shop is well stocked, with all different kinds of very cool toys. I've seen them teaching and sharing there wisdom and styles to all sorts and they seem to be very passionate about the whole thing. Great guys all round.
