Newport Driving Test Centre

I passed my test yesterday after few attempts and every time it was my nerves which was making me fail as i overthink during the exam.All my examiners was cool but hats off to the examiner Deere as he was very nice, professional and the way he spoke during the exam which helped me to keep stress away and could concentrate on my driving. Thankyou so much

Why driving test centres doesn't have any hand washer in their toilets? Is there any rule for this not to put it in there? Be careful guys their tomtom is not updated. Speed limit was 30 on Newport city bridge but satnav showed it 40.

Just passed my Mod2 motorcycle test today.The examiner from today who I found out he was replacing the regular one is a lovely guy.The way he talks , relaxed give you confidence and more trust to focus on driving properly. All my respect for this Gentleman!

My wife had her second test and was met by a horrible man that started asking my wife about her mobility car and asking when she is gettig to close to a questions on her disability my wife took the test and thought she had passed but the instructor right at the end of the test failed her on getting to close to a parked car in Ringland now my wife's car as censors on her car to tell her when she is getting to close to a vehicle the censors did not go off aviod this group especially if your a senior lady with disabilities.they don't deserve any customers horrible people the less people use these people the better

Paid for a whole A2 course with local bike school. Trained Monday (20/2/23) for Mod1, and went for Mod1 Test today (23/2/23) and examiner refused to allow me to take my test due to a mistake, which was amended on CBT certificate.. the mistake was corrected and signed. However examiner refused. On Gov website it says amendments are allowed, if signed, which is was. However is allowed to be refused if examiner has their doubts. Examiner couldn’t have any doubts because the original mistake was 20/00/22, which was changed to 20/10/22. Darren was the instructor, has been reported to DVSA.

The Newport test center manager as examiner is unfair and improfessional, he failed my wife 3 times because he didn't like her face. Shame on you

Friendly staff at this test centre, the examiners always make me feel relaxed, but Each time I have had a test here the nav fails me it’s out of date and and breaks down on test, my last test it went blank stopped working and I went over the 20 miles a hour and failed, no excuse I know but but the blank nav was a little confusing and threw me a bit, they need to be updated asap

The examiner instructed me to switch the lane on the bridge close to the traffic light, I switched as 34 mile, he told me I overspend!
