Very happy with the service I received from London City Carpenters. Paul was friendly, professional and answered all my questions. The job was done to a high standard and the price was fair.5 stars, I would certainly recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable carpenter at a competitive price.

very rude and unprofessional. Refused to give me a quote or price estimate for kitchen units because I only required his services for measuring and supplying doors, seemed pissed off I'd found someone much cheaper to actually fit the doors. Kept being incredible offensive regarding the ethnicity of the carpenter I'd hired to do the work. Admitted he'd lost interest" in following through on my request??"

Asked this company for a quote. The tirade of emails was unbelievably rude and insulting because I missed two phonecalls from them (despite me explaining that I am deaf and prefer to communicate by email). No apology forthcoming. Would suggest avoiding this company completely.

Do not use this company. I had the misfortune of dealing with Paul who I employed to fit an Ikea kitchen. He is rude, his mood is unpredictable and he is short tempered. He actually upset a tenant so much she refused to be in the flat when he was present. The job was so bad that I had to ask him to stop half way through and employ some other guys to come in and sort out the mess he had created. He claimed the kitchen had no instructions, however the new guys found them in an unopened box! He drilled through walls, installed a fan extractor with nothing inside it, the work tops were uneven, the tiling was so bad we had to rip them down and start again, the grouting leaked into all the plug sockets, to be honest with you the list is endless. I asked for a refund and received nothing, I then threatened him with legal action. I have heard nothing from him. On his website he talks about how expensive other companies are, there is a reason he is cheap! Do not use this company.

I am highly recommending this company. The quoting process was very straight forward and Paul the owner was very accomodating. Everything was done to the specifications and quickly.. the price very competitive! The bookshelves and closet look fantastic ! Paul also recommended a painter who was equally as professional! Thank you for making this experience a good one !

I have had Londoncitycarpenters fit 3 new internal firedoors into my flat.I needea good job, for strength and secuity and would have had an expensive bill from a standard contractor.A very good piece of work.Highly recommend.The material,s and fittings used were fit for purpose , as asked for, strong and well fitted.A good price and worked exra time to ensure a good job with no additional charge.I will use them again whenever i need work done.hamishmacpherson

Gave a contract to do 2 wardrobes and fit some locks however:1. took £1050 in advance, dumped some MDF wood in the living room2. installed ill-fiiting locks and damaged the fire doors x33. Finally absconded with the money leaving me with only one unfinishedwardobe with holes, nails and crooked handless hung doors.Was extremely rude and arrogant on phone. In short a real fradulent tradesman. My advice is Better avoid this company than be sorryThis is a response to the owners reply who claims that the review we provided is fake. We are pleased to say that the facts stated in our review are true . We have all the evidence to prove his shoddy workmanship .What is also really concerning is the dishonesty , arrogance and irresponsibility of this tradesman.

Have recently had an extension fitted by london city carpenters and can only praise the total professional i received from paul the owner and his hard working staff.The job was completed to an extremely high standard, within the allotted time frame and would have no hesitation in recommending london city carpenters
