We recently purchased our first home through Ryder & Dutton. Our experience from the get go was smooth and effortless. Matt Corfield was great at keeping in touch with any updates regarding the purchase. A really great branch and excellent customer service.

They can't give an appraisal in a suitable time (2weeks after enquiry) and then they don't stop hounding you. I have lost count of the amount of phone calls and messages I have had off them. They are still trying to arrange a valuation on my house despite it now having been on the market for 3 weeks. I have spoken to at least two people to tell them this and yet I am still receiving messages.

We have known the team at Ryder and Dutton for a while and in late 2021, instructed them to sell our property.They did a great job! The team were very knowledgeable and responsive, helping us complete our sale in a super smooth fashion for which we were very thankful.Thanks to the whole team in Halifax.

Been promised we would get our windows replaced before my baby was born as they are currently let in cold air and are nailed shut , none of this has been done and my daughter has been born and I 3 month old , we've been waiting patiently for ages , fobbed of with it.Also our back door doesn't open or close as the lock has snapped, yet again we have been promised it to be fixed , this has been 6-9 week broken , I'm self employed and can not get my tools out of my own house.Advise using another company

We were purchasing a property through Ryder & Dutton and had the pleasure of dealing with Matt throughout. Unfortunately it was a particularly difficult situation and through no fault of ours or Ryder and Dutton the purchase fell through.However, I cannot praise Matt enough - he is professional, friendly and efficient. Despite the circumstances his communication throughout the process was fantastic and whilst we didn't get it over the line I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ryder and Dutton and Matt in the future. He is without doubt the best estate agent I have dealt with - if anything I will miss our weekly chats!
