Enquired on a car via the website.Was answered to be fair.But so rude was the response. No basic manners. Plus warning about how he takes no messing ?Good. For you.But means i lost interest instantly?I’m an interested customer? ( or was)Incredible attitude from the off?Maybe he’d come off the phone to someone he felt was wasting his time?But really. A customer service course is recommended here me thinks?Other reviews seem to highlight similar issues?Along with laughing at this sales outlet’s prices it seems ??I think someone is getting above themselves. Take a look at the place ?It won’t end well..Can’t comment on standard of vehicle.Didn’t travel to view after initial rude response to my enquiry.If you end up out of business.Blame only yourself.

Never bought anything from here, but always laugh at the ridiculously priced cars when I’m stuck at the railway crossing

1 star is being very generous....Had the car for less than 12 months, it's cost me so much money and now been told I'll have to pay at least a further £1000. Avoid like the plague and go to a main dealer.

I bought a car from here 3 months ago, they had a good choice of low mileage cars in great condition at a competitive price. Staff were friendly and very helpful and after sales has been great, definitely recommend to family and friends.

Although My original Review was Positive, Please read on.For 8 and a half years I had a Dependable Reliable Little Nissan Micra unfortunately the Gearbox Failed.So I thought it was a great Idea to go to Tallington Car Sales to See what they have available.On the Forecourt was this Lovely Low Mileage Rover 45 (28k when Brought), It was looking so pristine sat there.So I decided to buy, All was going well for around 5 weeks. First issue. It started leaking Coolant. Inlet Manifold replaced. All was OK that was until I was reversing out of a car parking Space around 4 weeks later and the Gearbox started to Jam. Only way you could get it out of Reverse was to Switch the whole car off and then take out of gear before turning the Engine back on again.So At Great Expense, Had the Clutch replaced. All was OK for another 5 days until It totally gave Up, This time Slave Cylinder was replaced.In-between it also required a Coolant sensor, 2 new tyres.So the whole time, It also had an issue where It was quite rough on tickover, Many People, Many hours have attempted to Try and Find out what is going on with it. Recently, It was discovered that the Cylinder head is absolutely shot, Timing was out by one tooth, And One Cylinder is running on low Compression.So now I am Looking to get rid of this car as soon as possible unfortunately as I really can not spend much more money fixing stuff on it.It's a Shame, If looks could decive this certainly has been one of those cars, I have owned it 13 months and just covered 7,000 miles in it. So my advice is Do not go here for a Car I have unfortunately learnt that the Hard way. Not sure where they are getting these cars from. But that Poor Rover is unfortunately that I brought, Is going to be Sold on, Hopefully to someone that will bring it back to health.In short, Tallington should of never of sold that car possibly knowing the Faults it had. It also used to randomly cut out and sometimes on roundabouts which is frankly dangerous.(Picture taken when the Clutch failed, Had to get it recovered)As of 25/03/2023 This car still shows up on tallingtons websiteAround £1,000 I had to spend trying to keep it going too. Not happy at all.To who ever reads this think very carefully before buying a car from here in future.

£6k for an 11 year old Astra..... genius idea if you want to hoard cars instead of trying to sell them!

For the good this car sales forecourt has been here a long while, since 1975 and the quality of the vehicles seems pretty high. I doubt any business would last this long without being good. Lots of low mileage cars that many are quite old and clean looking if that's your thing. I prefer late 90s to early 00 cars myself. But I also like a fair price.Over priced cars. The person I spoke to give me doubt on the quality of vehicle and any hope of after sales service. I've seen cars I would like there but with the price and my gut feeling I wouldn't buy. So many cars on their website in the category of current stock that are marked up sold.I havent bought a car here but if something I really liked and wanted was for sale here probably would. But it would have to be pretty special.

Great sellers, just AWFUL organisation and rude planning staff. It's worth a visit but bite your tongue until you're in the sale itself.
