Beckley Point - Yugo Student Accommodation

I loved living at Beckley Point! The views from my bedroom and the Skye Lounge are incredible. I lived in a Studio Flat and it was the perfect size for me. Workers Emily and Wayne are absolutely awesome!! I am from the United States and they always made sure that I was okay and assisted me if I ever needed help. They made my experience at Beckley Point!! Also, there are plenty of lounge spaces to hangout with friends. Highly recommend!

Great staff very helpful, good location for everything going on in Plymouth. Good size rooms. It gets a bit hot in the summer but so does everywhere. Highly recommend

Such a horrible Student accommodation. The elevators are always broken, the washing machines are broken, the tv is not working, the windows are extremely Dirty to a point you cannot see outside and the accommodation has pests such as silverfish. When you tell the staff the response you get from them (we cannot do anything because it is not only your room so it will be expensive for us) regardless of how pricy the rooms are in Beckley point. I would not recommend this accommodation for students at all because at the end of the day the only advantage is the sky lounge which is always full of people and you cannot do anything there.

I read some of the reviews on here and I can’t understand what makes people so upset.I stayed in private accommodation my first year and was given no support. If there was an issue, it would take days to get anyone to come have a look.Beckley point has the best staff, everyone is friendly and they are with you in 5 mins if you have an issue.People also complain about the lifts- the higher you are, the longer it will take. That is normal! I live really high up and don’t understand the issue of having to be patient.This is probably the best accommodation you will ever experience in Plymouth, and I’m happy to be staying here another year.

Absolutely Fabulous! Modern, clean and unique. Beckley point has so much to offer, including study rooms, cinema, large kitchen lounges, a sky lounge and a large communal area with pool table, ping pong table and plenty of comfy seating. The rooms range from standard shared flats, to luxury penthouse studios all of which have been completed to the highest standard. Views from most of the rooms are stunning, being able to see straight down to the hoe. Beckley Point is located at the top of Armada Way, a stone's throw away from the town center, university campus and Plymouth train station. On top of all this, 24/7 staffing creates a secure environment with help available at all times. The building has also been outfitted with state of the art fire alarm and prevention systems with sensors and alarms in every room and regular tests weekly. This student accommodation is, without doubt, the best across Plymouth.

I’ve lived in a few student places over the years, but this is by far my favourite! I live in a studio and love it!! There’s so many great common rooms from the cinema to the amazing sky lounge! All the staff are awesome, there’s always events and competitions. It’s also in a prime location right opposite the main Plymouth campus.

The place is clean and nice with good facility, the staff are friendly and helpful. The only problem is always need spend 10-15min to wait for the left in the rush hour (before and after school). Also, the size of the room is quite good, but if the size of the studio become larger a little bit will be much better. In overall, this place is good to live with and the value is quite good.

Amazing building to live in, so many facilities including the sky lounge, study rooms, and the cinema room! Very modern design in the best location as it is literally right next to the uni. Definitely the best student accommodation in Plymouth, the staff are very friendly and are there to help you 24/7.

I was hoping for a better experience.Last month it was missing internet for at least a week, this month it was hot water for the whole FLAT, the staff said hot water would come within half an hour, but didn’t.

Modern accommodation. Self contained. Higher rooms have wonderful views.... Accept that may not be important to some students but as a parent, I loved it!
