Hamilton Gypson Close , I came on Monday 7th October my boot was full with clearance items from the garage plus vases (glass) and other good but not needed for Loros reuse shop. Approaching the lights before my turn left to go past Aldi, I needed to beak and my glass vases slipped from the container which I held them in shattering glass on the floor of my car some came on the passenger seat, this shook me up. I pulled up to the man manning the box then drove off to the side as to not stop oncoming traffic. Wayne, was the Officer in charge of the Hub, he helped me as I thought the glass may have cut my back. His assistance was first class, he put heavy gloves on and picked up the large shards of glass to help me as I am a diabetic and afraid of cuts..My heartfelt gratitude to Wayne, and Michael , as I approached the main clearance section, both Men are helpful and go the extra mile to assist the public, not all do!Mrs Lynne Johnson ( Evington.)

Disgusted. I went to the Oadby & Wigston tip today with my father to dispose of some wood. When we pulled up I heard a lady in the car in front of me asking a member of staff to help her get something out of her car as it was heavy and she was disabled, she had a withered hand, they refused point blank. We helped her of course but I cant believe that they wouldn't help a disabled old lady, apparently they aren't allowed"!!"

Friendly guy at the gate directs you to the relevant place for your rubbish. Shame opening time isn’t earlier, could call in on way to work rather than make a special journey. Open at 8.00am and you’d get 5 stars!

Used to be a very convenient tip. But now it’s just not. Charges for this and that doesn’t accept some items. Great improvement?. I wonder why fly tipping is on the increase?The staff are still the same friendly people that have always been there.

Will Allocate You A Drop Off Zone - Each Waste Bay Is Numbered - According To The Waste You Are Dropping Off - If You Are Stuck,There Are Helpful & Professional Staff Available At All Times.

As an Elderly lady I found the Staff so Pleasant and Helpful and they had a smile for me, very pleased with how the Tip is set out and I went home happy.Thank you,Mrs T.

The appointment system is working well. Staff were helpful, refuse drop-off points were clearly marked. Managers might encourage staff to smile with customers. A smile is so important! Keep up the good work!
