We had a fantastic time here in our touring caravan. Clean toilets and warm showers. Play park for the kids. We actually stayed an extra night. Will definitely be back again.

Rubbish new owners are destroying the once great sense of community van by van forcing older vans off after years they have paid the 2000 pounds a Yr site fees avoid

Like this site nice and quiet and I can take the dogs with me. Close to the beach and has a small shop on site. Toilet, shower and washing up room all kept well by the owners. Never any bother on site over the last 8 years that I have been coming here.

No heat in shower room or hand dryers for hands hair dryers. Small area of concrete for caravan step out in to muck If ground is wet need to bring up to date lot better sites for same price offer better !!

Use to own a static at this site for 6 years. We had many good friends and good times there. Do miss everyone and the parties. Roy and Hilda who run the site are decent people to. Close to shops and well kept site.

Site is run down although touring facilitys are clean, alot of litter lying around. Booked and paid for 2 but left after 1 night as alot of the statics have flags around their vans and we just didn't feel comfortable sitting outside the caravan.

The site is well maintained and seems well suited for static caravans. The toilets were cleaned daily though we never saw the cleaner.Speaking as well seasoned campers, we think that the site needs major improvements that may not cost them the earth. 1) hot washing up water, the water was tepid at best, and cold most evenings. 2) warm showers, showers were ok in the morning and cold at other times. 3) soap and dryers in the toilets, there was none. 4) urinals fitted in the gents, there were none which meant that the seats for the two toilets were often dirty. 5) local knowledge, the one thing we were told was the location of local chippy yet it was closed when we drove out to it. 6) the tent field was liable to being waterlogged as it took the water from the ajoining feild. 7) litter picked up, previous campers left a mess, we left it there for 4 days untill we picked it up ourselves. 8) more laundrette keys, there was only one which entalled a lengthy walk just to return the key and then to repeat it when it was finish. I could say more, but this will do for now. Consultanacy fee is in the post!

Stayed here for 3 nights camping in our tent and had a brilliant time. Place is clean quiet at night. Great toilet shower area. We will be back.

A family orientated campsite. Play park, farm animals, football pitch and shop kept kids entertained. Free clean showers. Beach is very close but sewage outflow spoilt it! County Down is beautiful. Bangor and Portferry very close to campsite.
