Up Your Grade Tutors

It was very straightforward to arrange a Tutor with Andy from Up your Grade. We found a convenient time in our busy diary. My daughter's tutor, Sean Johnson is really nice and he quickly understood what she wanted to achieve. He has already helped her increase her confidence and achieve improved grades in her exams. They work hard in the sessions but it isn't too gruelling!!

Excellent tuition. Alex helped my daughter through sats and increased her confidence. My son who was very reluctant is really enjoying his sessions!

Roy is great with my son. He really understands what to focus on and keeps the sessions interesting. He is inspiring my son to put the effort in to further develop his maths skills and we’re really glad to have his involvement.

Andy Beety is an excellent tutor - would highly recommend. He has a lot of teaching & tutoring experience and his knowledge across the breadth of the maths curriculum means that one tutor can cover all tuition aspects. He is extremely helpful and genuinely interested to see the pupils he tutors do as well as they possibly can. Andy successfully adapted during the pandemic to online teaching which has benefited us greatly. Sharing exam tips & techniques built confidence and Andy tailored the lessons to suit our needs. Andy's tutoring contributed a 2 grade level uplift at A level which widened next-step education opportunities & possibilities. Currently receiving the same excellent standard of tutoring from Andy for 2022 A levels....

My daughter has had a few months of excellent tutoring with Roy Longstaffe to improve her confidence in GCSE Maths. She has always doubted her maths skills, and went into her GCSE Maths exam feeling confident and enthusiastic. I can highly recommend Roy. He is patient and is an excellent teacher. Jane was highly recommended to me by a friend who knew I was looking for support in my daughter’s GCSE English literature and language. My daughter has had English tuition now for a few months prior to her upcoming exams. Jane has excellent curriculum knowledge and has really helped build her exam technique and confidence. Andy at Up Your Grade was great at matching us with maths tutor Roy. Roy is really helpful and patient, and very good at explaining things. Even late on a Friday afternoon, my daughter enjoys her sessions and now feels ahead of the game. Roy has definitely boosted her confidence with maths, which is great to see as exams loom soon.

John is a fantastic maths tutor - highly committed and clearly enjoys what he does. John goes above and beyond to ensure learning maths is a positive experience, and my son really liked his lessons and appreciated John's guidance with his GCSE exams.
