I just had my 2013 Skoda Superb CR140 TDI 4x4 DSG remapped here. It was 131bhp originally and is now 175.5bhp. The DSG has been perfectly remapped too, so it changes with more force and quicker than before, especially in Sports mode. Short shifting in manual mode is hilarious fun. And the original 0-60 was 10.4 seconds. Now it is 7.6 seconds! Quicker than I ever imagined it would be for a stage 1 remap! 400Nm torque is a 90Nm increase. Brilliant facilities, comfortable viewing waiting room for customers, excellent rolling road 4x4 dyno. All in all a 10/10 experience all round. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED.

what a fantastic place .i had my xf jaguar in 3 different garages all said its going to cost £1000s as i need a new DPF and that the MASS sensors need replacing .I then took it to THE TUNER met up with Ozy and Alex they are so knowledgeable and after putting my car though there system was able to not only find the problem but sorted it there and then at a fraction of the price others had quoted. This is my first experience at the tuner. I booked in for a double res delete on a M240i. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I arrived, but I was pleasantly surprised. The workshop and the waiting area were very well kept, so from the get-go my impression of the place was positive. Staff were polite and got to work pretty much straight away.I was able to see them working on my car from the waiting area, which is nice, as I love my car and it’s the first time letting someone else work on it. So being able to see the work being done, without being too close to distract them or put them off is just perfect. It didn’t take long for me to realise my car was in good hands.At the end, I got to have a good chat with one of the staff members (I’m terrible with names). He was very genuine and needless to say, for all future work, I will be coming back to these.Oh and how neatly and securely the resonators were put into the boot of my car.. it sounds silly, but I keep my car very clean, so that gesture of taking extra care… 10/10.

I’d taken my 2014 Audi A4 2.0 diesel to a garage to find out why the engine management light kept coming on from time to time, they told me it was the DPF filter, so it took my car to this place with the intention of getting the DPF cleaned the guy who owns it plugged it in to his laptop and run a diagnostic check and told me the DPF filter was 100% blocked and even if he cleaned it out it would still only go back to 75% which was still bad. He then proceeded to explain all the scenarios that were facing me, new DPF exhaust £2000 to £3000, a new EGR valve £400 to £500 or he could remove the DPF filter and remove the honeycomb and re-map the car for £750, obviously the cheapest option. I told him I would have to think about it knowing full well that’s it’s illegal to remove the DPF filter and the car would be an automatic MOT failure so with this in mind I went on my way. I do know a little bit about cars and my first thought was if the DPF filter is 100% blocked the warning light would come on and if I’m not mistaken the brain would put the car into limp mode. So now for a second opinion so I booked a diagnostics check with Halfords £49.99. Best money I’ve ever spent, I had already explained the story to them prior to the diagnostic test, well the facts were my DPF filter was not 100% blocked it was only at 11% the reason why the engine management light was coming on was a result of the EGR valve being dirty. Halfords priced the job to replace the EGR valve however it was a little pricy at £760 all in. However I shopped about and after some positive advice I decided to buy a new EGR valve fitted for a little over £460 the car is now running as sweet as a nut, so if you are having problems with you car take them to Halfords those guys were brilliant and as for this outfit think long and hard before you part with your money for them to do something that doesn’t need doing

Recently took my M140i in for stage 2 tuning, car was previously tuned stage 1 elsewhere and wasn’t running right.Spoke to Sam over the phone who was helpful and told me to bring it down.When inspected the OPF had been tampered with and the pipe broken.After the pipe was repaired and the mapping was done, the car now runs a dream.Thanks to the team for the help, will definitely be back for more work.

Booked in for diagnostics work and a Stage 1 remap on my 1.6 Caddy. Great work by the guys. Will be returning soon
