Everything I have bought from here has proved to be good quality and value. Staff are very helpful at the livingston store. Will continue to use CEX as my preferred 2nd hand electronics store.

You can sell your items here for a reasonable price. They even arrange postage if posted by mail. They examine your item for sale, then offer you a price. If done online, then you can get direct bank transfer, shop voucher or donate funds. This store is inside of the centre.

Feel completely let down by a store I have used religiously for the last few years. Tried to trade in a phone, handed it in on Monday and was assured things would be sorted by Tuesday, no contact by email or phone, went into store today only to be rather rudely given my phone back and told it had failed testing due to scratches on the screen protector, something that could have been communicated to me by phone. When I queried this by stating that it was scratches on the screen and not the protector I was rudely responded to with “it’s definitely failed then”. Personally I feel attacked as if I was needing to grab a quick cash injection or something, whilst I accept these things are run of the mill and phones will fail etc. I do at least expect to be treated like a human being with at least an ounce of quality customer service, will not be back.

went in with my kids today as my 8 yrs old daughter was looking for a game that she wanted. We waited ages for someone to serve us as workers were more interested chatting with each other ignoring the fact i was stood waiting. Finally a guy decided to serve us. My daughter had her game in hand and i asked her to give it to the man. The worker proceeded to say to my daughter something along the lines of are you selling your game or buying it - i told him we were buying. He then proceeded to hand me the game back and ask me to give him it back while mumbling something about the age. The game was a pokemon age rated 7 game!!! I told the guy my daughter is 8 nearly 9, only for him to mutter under his breath that he asked us that!! Was he getting at the question he asked my daughter about selling or buying the game that she didnt answer as she struggles with her communication due to being autistic!!!. Sorry but asking someones age and if they are selling or buying a game are two different questions!!This man never asked me nor my daughter her age!! the only thing he asked was if she was selling or buying the game. This man clearly has very poor costumer skills the way he spoke to us!! and to lie is not a good look on cex!! weird thing is he was happy to ask a minor if she was buying or selling the game instead of directing his question at her mother!! yet make it difficult for us to buy the game due to age rating 7 because my 8 yrs old handed it over! i totally get theres rules about selling games etc due to the age ratings but when he could clearly see she wasnt buying the game on her own. It shouldnt of mattered weather my 8 yrs old handed it over or i handed it over as we were together- just a complete awkward cex worker! Perhaps this man in question needs to be taught some manners and costumer service skills and be more mindful of members of public that may have a hidden disability that effects their social and communication skills! Thankfully my child wasnt effected by this incident!! but i was left feeling angry and upset at the treatment. Not even a sorry for his misjudgement or nothing. we wont be buying nothing else from this shop. The shop was also very smelly and freezing cold!. The mans staff ID was 58038.

Bought a games console for a Xmas gift on line, didn't work! So returned the item and had to travel to another shop, slightly inconvenient

Always pop in here when I take a trip to the Centre. As a collector of movies and video games, I never leave empty handed. It's usually quiet, and unlike Game, you're not pestered as soon as you set foot in the store.

Although meant to be two separate lines for trade insurance and buying. Both staff members were dealing with trade ins. Had to wait a while. Was ready to leave when a shop floor colleague stepped in.

Used to go into this shop to purchase any decent games and had no problem at all but just went in recently to try and hand in items that are perfectly working and they got checked out and I was given a quote for them and I was relatively happy with the quote, I’ve just received a phone call saying my items can’t be processed and I need to come and pick them up. I was given no reasoning as to why they couldn’t be processed which is shocking customer service from them. I will never shop or attempt to trade in items ever again
