Lincoln Karate School

Classes get better and better.. my daughter has been attending for 2.5 years now and I cannot describe the feeling of how proud I am of how far she has come, and this was only possible by the dedication of Rob, Sam and the team that are involved in the classes and all that happens in the background. They help build not only physical achievements for the children but emotional ones also. The confidence change in my daughter is fantastic to see and I could watch her do her Katas all day! Rob really does run the best Karate school in Lincoln!

Started Karate with Rob because my kids were doing it at school and I thought it would be good to do with them and increase my fitness. Wasn't wrong. Have been supported by Rob (and Sam) through all my time with LKS and despite my incessant nit-picking of my own technique, Rob and all the other instructors have been nothing but helpful. I have an eyesight issue and never thought I'd progress above Green belt but Rob has been very understanding of the limits I have and I'm now planning on going as far as I can up the rankings (I'm past Green already!!). A warm family atmosphere in every session. Welcoming to new students and great for students moving from other styles. Looking forward to carrying on developing with the school.

Highly recommended karate school with experienced instructors and an interesting approach to teaching. Classes run throughout the week, so you can plan them around your lifestyle using the handy app. I was looking for a martial arts school for my daughter and found Lincoln Karate School. We decided to join the school together, which was a very good idea. In addition to physical benefits such as mobility, strength and coordination, you will also gain self-confidence and self-defense skills, which is never too late, speaking for myself as a 43-year-old.

My son decided to try karate as an after school class at Ling Moor. We had tried several sports/activities before this and he was never really taken with any. Karate has become a massive part of his life over his 1st year with the club. I have seen how much he has developed. His confidence, resilience and determination has flourished. I can't thank Rob and Sam enough. I have even decided to give it a go and I'm only sorry that I didn't find karate sooner in life. Great club, feels like a family once you get to know people! Highly recommended.

As always, great engagement, fun and constructive classes. I thoroughly enjoy being a part of such a supportive karate family and it has been amazing to see how much of a positive impact Lincoln Karate School has had on my daughter, and has given us a shared passion.

I was looking for a Karate Club for my boys to go to, as this was a huge part of my childhood and I knew the benefit it has. I saw after the first lesson Rob was the man! His knowledge, presence and skill in delivery is excellent. He commands the attention of all the student's, and does not compromise in developing knowledge but makes it feel like one big family! Its great how he allows parents to join the sessions with their kids - something I never experienced growing up - and we all learn together! It's the perfect club for families of all abilities. It's simply 5 star!

My son wasn't confident in sports or in himself but with lots of support and guidance from Lincoln Karate School, today he got his green belt with first class pass! Being part of this community has taught my son so much more than karate. Thank you.

Amazing family friendly school to learn karate. We were fed up with going to the gym doing the same old things and we also wanted to learn a new life skill. We joined Lincoln Karate School four years ago an have loved that we can as a family get fit together, learn something new as well as meet some amazing people. Rob is an amazing instructor who takes the time to explain techniques as well as give some history into its origins. Lincoln Karate School is great for children as the lessons are structured with games for them to play that helps build their confidence, fitness and coordination.

Lincoln Karate School is not only a place to learn Karate but a place to learn to grow. Rob and the gang teach in wonderfully relaxed manner which allows them to pass on huge knowledge, generating confidence, strength on mind and personal growth. I cannot thank them enough for what they have done for my child!
