St Mary The Virgin

An unusual round towered church accessed up a long drive from the Quidenham Road. The south wall has unusual widows because it was once the arches to a south aisle that collapsed leaving the internal arches which have now been glazed.

It's open and very beautiful inside. We weren't expecting that really but yeah, a beautiful round tower in the middle of no where with quite a character. It's worth a peak, windows are looking refurbished but contains beautiful biblical scenes, at the end there's a beautiful wooden frame topped buy angels. The tower can't be access as you would expect.

Nice round tower church, it has a rood and rood loft, though not original to the church they are dated 1959. There is a stone alter which is rare to find, the alter back is impressively carved. Overall a nice church and the views on the drive up and down the track to reach it is very nice.
