I have trained with Function First Louth since September 2012, and now 1 year in, I can say I have never felt better! It has given me much more than just a place to train, Function First Louth is a community, full of friendly people and staff, they don't just give you a place to train, I have experienced first hand how they can change people for the better! Especially the Kids Martial Arts And Leadership program, it gives kids massive confidence. If you want results, you want to be here!

Joining Function First Louth almost 18 months ago - has changed me completely - I am the fittest, strongest and fastest I have ever been. My body and mind have been completely overhauled - There is never a boring class and James has time to motivate everyone, not just the new members - I am still motivated long after I would have been bored with previous exercising and I love Kettlebell so much I have developed my coaching skills too.I have been with Function First for 6 months now and can honestly say I have seen the best results in that short time than years of other gym memberships. I have gained strength and lost inches. I run the fastest I ever have in 20 years of running and have been encouraged to try new classes which I now love. James, head coach, has just the right balance of pushing and encouragement in his coaching which means I get the best from every single session. Wish I have found it earlier.

My son started function first when he was four, he is now nearly eight and is part of the function first furniture. I wouldnt ever dream of changing martial arts clubs because in this case you definitely get what you pay for, dedication, commitment, friendliness, top quality coaching from all members of staff and lots of extras you would not get anywhere else.

My son is training to be a dancer and had some issues with flexibility, FF undertook an individual assessment on him and where able to pinpoint where his problems were and so developed an individualized plan for him. The progression in his flexibility has been evident to see and we are so impressed we are booking further sessions to develop his strength for when it comes to lifting in partnership work. Thanks to James for his supportive and encouraging teaching style.
