Loved it.. Weather was fantastic too which always makes a difference.. 3 hides.. A small donation or Free to RSPB Members.. Members also get into the private hides too.. Where the Windows open.. Ideal for trying to grab that special shot.. Full of information in the hides too.. What birds to expect to see etc.. Also added 2 more pins to my ever growing collection..

It is amazing to have this right in the centre of Belfast gives you the chance to experience nature on your doorstep. The visitors centre is fantastic really clued up volunteers and bios etc are there to help you see more breeds of birds you can also get a chat with other nature lovers and become part of the RSPB family.

Amazing place to view various birds. Ian was especially informative pointing out particular birds and letting me see them.

Free to rspb members and a small charge to other visitors (£3 adults, £1.50 kids). A very comfortable bird watching building overlooking a natural fresh water lagoon. Many of the birds will walk on the bank right in front of the panoramic windows where you can sit. Some of the birds may be a bit far away but there are binoculars and spotting scopes to use. Very easy to spend half an hour or longer chilling out while watching nature in front of you, as well as the occasional ferry or cruise ship going past. There’s a little play area for the wee ones, and tea/coffee are available for a small price. Morning/lunchtime is best on sunny days for the light. Recommended for nature lovers, but not for people who want more things to do.

Amazing place to visit especially if your big into your birds! Ladies there where extremely welcoming and let me and my partner come in and Check it out without even charging us! Clearly had extensive knowledge on there birds and where able to go into detail with any one we saw, didn’t catch her name but she had a short blonde Bob with a fringe and another lady called Ruth with her. Will definitely be back for some more fun and bird watching. Hospitality , kindness and warmth was felt all throughout. Can’t thank them enough :)

Fantastic little nature reserve that is well managed by the RSPB. Staff and volunteers particularly welcoming and knowledgeable.Very welcoming to families and has little kids corner to keep the younger ones occupied.Saw lots of different bird species which was exactly what it's all about
