TRIBE - Bushcraft Centre

What an experience. One child created an amazing bush display and the other learnt fire techniques he's still talking about. All in an incredible location buried deep in the forest with the most enthusiastic and friendly teachers. We'll be back!

I did the willow wreath workshop here in December, and absolutly loved it!Even though we had a particulary horrid and wet day, we were under cover for the workshop and around a campfire, so the rain didnt bother me much at all.We had plenty of time to make our wreathes, with great instruction and even time to have a chat, with mince pies and mulled grape juice.It was a very lovely experience, and I'll be back for more workshops here in the summer!

The Social Saturday event we attended was perfect for my 8 & 12 yr olds and grown ups alike. The activities were both informative and engaging, thanks to the experience of Peter and his team. The location and walk to 'camp' made for a real immersion into nature. Recommended.

Our daughter and her friends loved her bushcraft birthday party a couple of weeks ago. They all had a great time, lighting fires, toasting marshmallows on enormous sticks, making shelters and getting messy & muddy in the woods. Thank you so much.

I attended the adult session as a birthday treat and it was a very interesting day.We learnt lots of different bushcraft techniques and Peter was so patient with us, showing us different ways to complete the tasks.The mud and the rain just added to the whole experience and didn't stop us getting the fire going. Super proud of us for that.I felt like a little kid on a mini adventure in the woods.Thank you Peter and team.

My daughter had a really wonderful day here during the Summer holidays. She said it was fun and interesting and everything was explained really clearly. She found it so inspiring that she's been bushcraft-ing in the garden every day since!

Myself and my 2 sons went for our first time to the adults and family Saturday session. We all had a great time and left inspired and happy.Pete has excellent knowledge and skills. He's friendly and kept all participants engaged throughout.The camp is really well laid out and organised and the activities we did of shelter construction, knife skills (to make pegs for our shelter) and fire lighting were interesting and fun.Everyone was really friendly and we'll definitely be going back regularly.My eldest son will also be joining the next Home Ed 6 week course which is run regularly throughout the year.

Just spent two fantastic days on the willow basket weaving workshop. Tuition was really good and got one to one when needed. Came away proud of what I've made and with a real sense of achievement. Great setting in the woods. On the hottest day of the year, so far, under the trees was the perfect place to be.

A great home ed group!My kids have got so much out of this group.In my daughter’s words:“We have learnt a lot of skills such as knot tying, identifying animal trails and plants, making traps, woodcarving, fire-building, and making cool stuff like shoes and furniture”.It’s a beautiful setting, the kids are encouraged to use teamwork and be respectful to nature, whilst also appreciating how much it can offer them practically.The balance between activities and socialising/working together is spot on. They never get bored, but they always have time to enjoy being with their friends too.My kids have really enjoyed every single session and I hear little nuggets of information about what they’ve been learning throughout the week.

Fab birthday party for our 9 year old. Pete really knows his stuff and made them feel so adventurous! Would thoroughly recommend.
