My daughters came for their first eye test recently and the optitian (an Irish man) was absolutely wonderful. So friendly, funny and charming. He put my children at ease and made us all laugh too. A credit to your business

Talk about overcharging the elderly and disabled they wanted over £250.00 for glasses on a cheap frame, in the end charged me just over £60 for previous prescription of 2 years previous . They got one star because I couldn't give them minus stars, if I could it would be minus a million star's plus, Take my advice everyone go somewhere else

It's lovely and clean and has an ok selection of glasses, staff are great but to get hold of them on the phone is the worst experience ever just relentlessly rings other then that really really great

Staff are very kind but...When I was new customer they followed up regarding any appointment or orders. Now it is the opposite! Despite ringing them several times they have not been picking up calls and then when it reaches customer service line, they say they have emailed my branch but still no follow up. So I had to physically go and get my things sorted (more than 1 time now)! They could atleast send text message to update or email( which they did when I was a new customer).

Really lovely friendly, helpful staff! Repaired my partners glasses , saving us a 100 mile trip home whilst on holiday .

Glasses frame became loose thanks to a screw on the side, and a lens fell out. They fixed it for free and even tightened the hinges. Thank you!

Waste of space, not even worth 1 star but you can't post zero. Got a letter from them asking that I arrange a hearing test because I was due to be issued with new NHS hearing aids. I did so, got to the shop slightly early, because I rely on the bus to get me there from across Bristol. Had to sit and wait although no one appeared to be with the Audiologist. Lots of staff in the shop, none wearing masks although some subsequently put them on. Finally got to see the Audiologist but she said my ears wear blocked so she could not issue my new hearing aids. She said I would have to get my ears syringed and make another appointment for a hearing test. This is not the first time they have cancelled one of my appointments. Previously, they cancelled an appointment when I was on the bus travelling to the shop.So the whole expedition was a complete waste of time. I got my ears syringed and made another appointment with them for this coming Friday. On Monday they telephone to say that the appointment is cancelled, they appeared to be unable to explain why, and the next available appointment is in January. In addition, my private hearing aids, bought from Scrivens, have been unreliable. I mentioned this to the Audiologist and she said she would investigate a repair with Phonak and telephone me. She never did! I don't know how Scrivens managed to persuade the NHS to award them this contract, they are useless. The previous provider gave a much better service. Avoid Scrivens if at all possible.

Absolutely brilliant!I've been for a hearing and eye test and both appointments were fabuluous.The people here are really lovely, caring and helpful.Highly recomend!

At the age of 63 my hearing was starting to fade so a hearing test was arranged vie my doctors surgery.The test was carried out in a normal room at the surgery with noise clearly audible through the headphones of people walking and talking outside, the software failed at one point when the hearing aids were being setup but this was skipped over.hearing aids were supplied to me on 1/8/2016.I used them mostly on the evening to get use to them but they always made a loud hissing noise, so I made an appointments at the Fishponds branch to see what could be done were I was informed they are both burnt out and will be sent back to the manufacturers for repair, 12 days later I collected the aids and was told they have been set upThey were still hiss but not so loud but also the sound was not loud enough that supposed to aid my hearing the.I made another appointment 2/16/2016 this time they were adjusted using a trail and error method the hissing was very low, but when using the at home no sound was coming through except a low hissing sound. I found I could hear better without them.What a sad waste of NHS money.From extensive search it seems there’s no way to see any of these reviews , only post.Seeing as they are very good at self promoting is there any point.
