Roger was amazing from the moment I stepped into the funeral home when my Mum passed away to the moment we said Goodbye at her Funeral. Roger & his Team showed nothing but kindness & respect. They cared for my Mum in the Funeral Home with the up~most dignity, kindness & care. Nothing was too much for them. I consider Roger & his Team to be ‘Unique’ in their kindness & respect, offering a service to their own community. Thank You So Very Much for Everything.. xx

we had a beautiful service for our baby boy luca.could not thank this funeral directors enough especially roger for his kind words, patience and understanding. he went above and beyond for all of us as a family and nothing was too much trouble.we will never forget our heart breaking experience but we our so thankful that there is still genuine nice people like roger around that made our awful time that little bit easier.would highly recommend this respectful company.thank you again ❤️sarah and mike (baby luca parents)

What an amazing company. Kay & Roger have gone over and above to help us at this sad time. Kay is so thoughtful and kind, the extra thought she put into the service cards and ashes box was breathtaking. They are wonderful, i wouldn't use anyone else.

A very malicious and completely un true 1 star review was posted on google about Laurence Jones Funeral Directors. I know the truth about this, and can categorically tell everyone that this is a nasty and spiteful comment, that is completely wrong, and completely inaccurate also. I would advise any one to look on the Laurence Jones Facebook page or website to see genuine reviews, from people who have witnessed and appreciated the kindness and professionalism of all at Laurence Jones first hand. Laurence Jones carried out the funerals for both my grandparents and did so in the most kind, sympathetic and professional manner. Really good people who will only give you nothing but the best. A family run funeral directors who took care of my late Dads funeral in July 2016 .Lawrence his son Roger and staff go above and beyond with their care and compassion this they showed to my family when we suddenly lost my Dad in 2016 .This highly recommend family run funeral directors showed my late Dad so much love and care when my Dad was in there care .Lawrence Jones funeral directors are highly recommend by myself and my family

I would not recommend this shambolic company to anyoneWell, where do I start, after losing our precious son in January 2022. This company was recommended by the hospital as we had no idea where to go.We were assured our son would be cared for in the best possible hands and we were also assured he would be treated with the utmost respect that he deserved, well that was not the case. On our son's arrival at the funeral home, we rang to see about visiting him as most of our family worked during the week and could only visit at weekends. We were advised that they couldn’t come to see their nephew, grandson, brother, cousin as they were not open at weekends. I then rang to complain about this, the person on the phone spoke to me in a rude and abrupt manner, this was only the beginning. The person on the phone told me that the normal procedure would be that we wouldn't normally to be able to see our son until his funeral date. This was really upsetting as they made us feel like we should be grateful that they are letting us spend precious time with our son at all.On one of my visits, I was there with 2 members of my family. We were there for 45 minutes but it felt like seconds, the employee asked us to leave, as they were doing work at the time. We would have loved to spend more time with our son, but we always felt like we were rushed and an inconvenience to themWhen we spoke about the funeral car for our son, we were assured that they had a Specialiste vehicle for babies which we thought would be a smaller hearse as we have seen them in the past. On the day of our son's funeral, we stepped out of our house to be greeted by are precious son was in the boot of the so-called specialised vehicle, a people carrier this was distressing and caused us more pain seeing our son being treated like someone's groceries. They were ten minutes late so they were rushing to get to the cemetery. All I could think of was my poor son being tossed around in the boot of the car. We were also rushed on coming out telling us there was another funeral and that we were holding them up, which wouldn't be the case if they were on time.When my partner went to collect our son's ashes on arriving at the funeral home he was let in only to find our son's ashes on the staircase when my partner addressed this matter to them they showed no remorse and tried to justify it by saying they had only just put him there.The whole experience was traumatic even after losing our son wasn’t traumatic enough and made the little time and memories we had with our son tarnished by this disrespectful company. They didnt have a sympathetic approach to our wishes for our beautiful boy. I would advise anyone to stay clear of this company at all costs

Posting after my neighbour passed away recently and was cared for by Laurence Jones. The professionalism of all the staff was of great solace and the Horse and Carriage arrangement was lovely. I hopefully won't need their services any time soon but they will be our number 1 choice when needed.

Lawrence Jones were excellent in dealing with our dads funeral. Took all of the stress away from us completely. In fact we felt at times that we should have been doing more but were assured that thy had dealt with everything. The funeral came and went with no issues whatsoever and they had clearly understood all of our needs/requests. Highly recommend!

A superb service from the first phone call from to Roger and his brilliant staff. This family run funeral directors on wirral is now the 1st choice for my family.. A fantastic send off for mum coordinated with empathy and professionalism from the start. I cant rate them highly enough. Faultless.
