I've always loved singing and have had singing lessons in the past. However, it wasn't until I started taking lessons with Jessica that I really started to realise my full potential. Jessica is a hugely supportive and encouraging professional singing teacher, always striving to bring the best out of her students' voices through fun exercises and solid technique. Jessica is very knowledgeable on singing technique and her lessons are informative but always relaxed and fun, with a focus on contemporary music tailored to the individual student’s music tastes.Jessica has really brought my voice out of its shell and my singing has seen real improvement since I have been taking lessons with her. Another great thing about Jessica is that she takes on board students' musical ambitions and will tailor lessons/exercises accordingly. Although I'd had singing lessons for a few years before starting to work with Jess, it's since I've been taught by her that I've had by far the biggest improvement. I look forward to her lessons every week because I know that not only am I going to progress and learn, but I'll have a lot of fun and a laugh as well!Jess is great for me as someone who already has a music degree and theory background, because she gets a very good idea of your strengths and weaknesses, and uses them to an advantage in order to efficiently help you move forward. She's able to criticise constructively while also building confidence. In a fairly short space of time I've gone from being terrified of the thought of singing in front of anybody but her to agreeing to sing in public for the first time at her showcase (I still don't know how she managed that!).Five thoroughly-deserved stars to Jess!

I haven't been learning with jess for very long,but i can safely say that she makes singing seem more enjoyable. She is a very funny,kind and loving singing teacher! She assures you are the best of your ability ,and makes sure you know that your'e always doing well. She is very supportive and kind and always calls me a DIVA" but she has made singing more fun and enjoyable and now I'm less afraid to show my talents

I've been taking singing lessons with Jess for a few months now. I already play the piano for the odd gig but would love to be able to sing as well, so I searched for a suitable vocal teacher in the area. I didn't hold out much hope for my singing voice, and when we first spoke on the phone I warned Jess that I had a pretty awful voice and that it was OK if nothing could be done with it - at least I'd know for sure and have given it a try.Jess has been brilliant to work with: relaxed, patient and honest about what's achievable and when. She seems to know everything about singing, and has an uncanny ability to know exactly what the problem is if I'm struggling in some way, and can always suggest (and demonstrate) a technique that fixes it. So I'm delighted to say that I can hit notes I never considered within my range, my strength and tone have improved significantly and I can even get through a couple of songs without upsetting the dog.The dog and I are both very grateful to Jess, and would thoroughly recommend her as a singing teacher. As another reviewer pointed out, she listens to the aspirations of the student and then tailors the lessons to help them achieve their goal. Brilliant.

I love music of all genres and wanted to learn to sing for my own pleasure, gain a bit of confidence, and sound " in tune singing in the car !Lessons are held in a relaxed manner with humour
