AC AERIALS OLDHAM

Very disappointed with this company after they were quite unhelpful. We bought a £450 tv off them and asked them to install it as it was for my 86 year old mother who lived nearby. Unforthnately onky 9 months later my mother had to go into a home where 9 months later she passed away.Having inherited the tv we set it up in our own home near Preston where it failed to get a signal. There was no fault with the aerial so I contacted AC for advice particularly as I had discovered they had sold us a Hospitality tv." They firstly refused to help but after pleading for advice eventually their "engineer" called us. All I wanted was some advice on how to install this tv and although they had previously installed it they could offer no advice except ring Samsung.I cannot recommend people use this company as they do not provide any reasonable after care service.l"

Called office after my aerial and cable had been damaged and Darren arrived later on the same day.Nice chap and helpful.Worked hard up ladders under difficult conditions as it started to get dark. He removed old aerial and old FM aerial and fitted new tv aerial plus cabling and a splitter.Total cost was £115 Inc labour and he was certainly on the job for 1.5 hours.Good value for a good job.On my experience, no hesitation to recommend and give Darren a cup of tea while he's working !Eddie McAlpine Helston Drive

I have used this company twice. First time I had a booster box fitted to boost the signal, the man that came was an older man but really nice and the price was good.2 years later my signal started playing up so booked a visit to have it looked at and two men came. One looked rough the other well presented.Both agreed I needed a new booster box which was £65. A few days later the signal went so called them back. The rough guy called Darren started verbally abusing me in my own home, said it was my now box and they should charge me a £65 call out charge. I said I wanted my money back and my old box back, I had to ask Darren to leave as I was very upset. He is a nasty piece of work, don’t let him in your home, can’t be trusted and can turn on you.The other man was embarrassed and said he couldn’t speak for him, gave me cash back and left, withMe in tears. It was actually the Aerial cable what was shorted, I would never use this company again, the worst ever. When I made a complaint the receptionist said she would get the owner to call me, never did!!!

Had an extra aerial fitted in my front bedroom plus TV mounted on the wall.Excellent service, arrived on time ,cleaned up after .fitters very friendly. Will be using them again.

A fast service by a c aerials and a good job done but felt let down by after work service as next door s aerial bits left on my side of the roof which they wanted to charge me extra to remove them to there side at £135 I expect a bit of good will

Just used this company to repair my aerial which had become loose due to the strong winds..the job came to £65.00 which entailed cutting the main holding metal tube which had snapped in two, from six ft to two feet which literally took two minutes and reconnect to the original bracket. No new parts fitted with the job.. Before going ahead with the job I was told it would be £65.00 when I questioned the price the engineer said it was either £59.00,(call out charge) or £65.00 for the job.. I had no choice but to get it done. I was at no time told that there was a £59.00 call out charge otherwise I would have gone elsewhere, also nowhere on their website does it mention a £59.00 call out charge.. I am told they would review the website in order to include it going forward, am not convinced of it.. I would therefore strongly recommend not to use this company unless you are prepared to pay the call out fee. Very very disappointed.
