For an Ale pub the ale is not great, changed to a Guinness which was better, but hadn't been given time to settle, but I had a thirst on. Second Guinness was so badly pulled it settled to approximately 30% head, then was topped and this is the final result after being topped up... With a bit of care and attention this could be a great pub.

Sort of fell across this place when another venue had lost its chef. The pub location is handy has parking and is very homely and cosy inside. The selection on the menu is decent for the area and the service staff were nice too. Food ordered for the 6 of us my family of 4 and two friends. The children's meal's came first with ours coming a short while after. Im not one to complain the steak wasn't hot when it came even though it wasn't the one I ordered and didn't get reimbursed the difference as I found out later. My meal was a modification as i didn't want the other sundries on offer, the amount was decent but it's not for me and rather than bad mouth I will leave it there. The one plate attached is the kids meal and my meal. I also ordered the chicken wings starter which were again decent.

We love this pub. An absolute gem but when we ordered a meal this afternoon, I think they forgot to put the order through and just left us waiting. No explanation or apology until I went and chased it up ages after! Saying that the food was exceptional. Love it!

Very good experience here. We were last minute customers on a Sunday, but the staff still found us places. Friendly staff, great food at reasonable prices and great atmosphere. Thank you very much!

Took over an hour to get our food, although there was no other customer in there!! Asked for well done steak it was rare, nobody came over to check the meal was OK if we needed any sauces ect, will not be revisiting!!!!

We all love a traditional local British pub. The waterfall is all this and more. Considering my parents live around the corner from the waterfall and have done for many years, I’m a bit gutted we wasn’t here more often when when we visit from Germany. The staff are very nice and friendly, and the food and drinks were value for money and very delicious. Will be returning soon.
