New China Gold has been my all-time favourite shop. It's been there my whole life that I can remember (24 years so far) This is my local area takeaway shop, I grew up with food from this place and John (the owner) is the best at what he does. The food is always high quality, the people that I've grown up to know from there are always so friendly. My favourite meals what I usually get are Sirloin steak chips and peas, Chicken curry and rice and I put Chinese style chips with it. Chicken Chow Mein, pork fried rice. Prawn balls are so nice there as well. They have a wide selection on their menu than I mentioned. I never want this place to go.

Always order my Chinese from here regularly- all the food is nice (chow mein & fried rice are the proper thing (what East end peeps like Chinese style!.. my opinion!...)... try it prices are reasonable aswell - it's a takeaway thou not an ear in restaurant

A decent local Chinese takeaway. Quick service, food was delicious and the portion sizes were good.I have tried a lot of Chow Mein and Sweet Sour Chicken from a lot of takeaways over the years, and this is old school cooking, the way it should be!One of the better take aways I've been to in Dagenham!The only downside to this place is that they don't have seats, although there is ample area whilst waiting for the order.

Lived in Dagenham for 7 years always had our weekly Chinese, moved to ilford 20 years later and we still go to New China Gold. Great service and food wouldn't think of going to a different Chinese takeaway place anywhere else.

This was our first time ordering from New China Gold and will be definitely ordering again. The portions were generous and delicious. The man who answered the phone and the man who delivered the food were also very helpful and friendly. I think we have found our new chinese takeaway!

Best Chinese place in Dagenham area. All the food that we have ordered have been tasty. Seasoning and you can feel Chinese heritage. (Do not mistake me. In China you have completely different experience) we have ordered 10 different dishes all of them tasted very nice. Loved curry and aromatic duck. Singapore rice have been amazing. Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style crispy and juicy due to souce. overall 5 star place and family run.
