Good turkish cuisine that delivers.I ordered the chicken shish & adana kebab main which comes with rice salad and bread.The Adana kebab was bursting with flavour and lovely lamb juices.Nice addition with the grilled tomato and chilli.The portion size looked a bit light at first glance but the meal combo did fill the appetite in the end.5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Take away only.Wasn't the best place to eat, however it may good for some quick takeaway (best to order over phone and collect). It didn't seem like hygiene was a priority for them (see images). None of the waiters even smiled but the food was fairly quick to arrive. In between waiting for the food, salad and bread was served. None of the meals come with drinks (not even kids meals). I may come back to try their grilled chicken for take away only.

Used to eat here all the time but recently my experiences here have been poor. The food doesn't taste as good as it used to but the prices have risen a lot. It's not seasoned as well as it used to be. The platters are tiny and if you don't ask for fresh chips, they'll give you old, stagnant chips. Their lamb burgers are also noticeably thinner and less juicy. It's just sad how far this place has fallen. It used to be really good but now it's average. Hopefully the owner sees this makes the necessary change.

Turkish restaurant run by Bangladeshis.Ordered x4 ‘grilled’ chicken wings, x4 naga wings and rice.NEVER RETURNING again.- Very poor customer service (waiter looked like he didn’t know what he was doing and he nor the manager apologised for the oily ‘grilled’ wings. MISERABLE and UNPROFESSIONAL staff.- FOOD was poor quality: stiff chicken wings like they were leftovers from two days ago. Salad and naan bread was a nice touch though.- ATMOSPHERE: dinghy basement. Kitchen is in front of the tables so you can hear the noise.Overall, I had a terrible experience. Wouldn’t recommend coming here to anyone but maybe you’ll catch them on a good day and be fortunate unlike me and the other people.

I regularly get the half chicken meal and in all honestly the best grilled chicken in town!Surprisingly the prices are actually very good and I hope they keep the prices same!Highly recommend this place. Top food, great staff and very clean shop.

This was my 3rd time dining in the Shish, the food at the beginning when I visited, I found the food was different and nice. The atmosphere is not really nice. The customer service was really good at the beginning from one of the waiters. But this time they got my friend’s order wrong, and they rectified it by not charging us for the drinks, which was not bad!. When it came to the bill, we were told to go upstairs and pay. However, one of them stopped us, as we made our way upstairs, in a way they made us feel like we were running away without paying. But, we were just following orders, and that’s how we paid there previously. It was a disgusting service, we are never going back there again.

Meats like lamb chops and lahmachun smell off. Price is a bit lower but food quality is also lower. Salad is bone dry, yur suppose to add a couple spoon of olive oil to wet it and give that glazing finish.

Never Dine in!I don't know what happens to the chef/restaurant when you eat in, but the food taste better when you do a take away.Ordered a half chicken and rice for Ramadan and it tasted horrible. The chicken was bland and undercooked and the orangy paste stuff on top of the chicken was disgusting, raw, and left a bad after taste in your mouth. It was a horrible experience.I don't know why but when you do a take away it taste much better...
