HM Land Registry - Gloucester Office

Waited for over 30 minutes for somebody to answer the phone - absolutely useless. Just kept referring me to the website and to pay £14.99 to get the free information I wanted. I really wouln't bother wasting your time! I had to press one star to allow my experience to be posted - I would give minus 10 stars

So far so good. I am about to transfer 2 properties and the forms were daunting. I rang the Land Registry office and a very helpful gentleman talked me through the forms and when I have all the bits and pieces of ID that I need I will be able to go directly to the office and transfer the deeds - no solicitors involved and I save myself about £1000. Well done LR !

Each time I have contacted the land registry although it has taken a while to answer I have always had polite and courteous service from all who have answered the phone they have gone out of their way to listen and understand what I needed and then provided the information and also suggested other possible information that might be useful. They provided me with documents in a reasonably short time. They can be proud of the service they provide to the general public.

I just want to say how incredibly helpful both Nicola and Trevor have been in dealing with an urgent appeal. They dealt with the problem in such an understanding and helpful manner and then called me back to confirm all had been done. A human touch in a hard world. A big thank you to you bothLiz Meharg

This is disgraceful service up to an hour waiting and then got cut off no doubt deliberately.This is not acceptable by any standards just constantly play music and repeat over and over again the same message presumably designed so you will hang up.How do you people keep your jobs ?? Justdisgusting .

Had a most helpful call with a lady called Bryony Buckley trying to ascertain status wrt our new build land registration. Although the lady could not resolve the issue (purely backlog related due to Covid), she was extremely helpful and informative. She did explain that she would be contacting the team with whom were dealing with the application and I have since received notification of this action already taking place.Such a helpful lady - very much appreciated.

Mr A Evans is the most helpful bloke on the planet. Goes the extra mile to ensure that things go smoothly. Can't thank him enough for taking ownership of my application as I'm having problems with mortgage companies. If whoever monitors these reviews could make sure he gets a hefty raise and double the amount of holiday days per year that would be great. Or just promote him so he can teach others. The screen name is wrong though it's Mr Slater typing. You guys have my number call me for his next performance review and I'll be there.

Is anybody working this government service anymore? I have been trying to speak to somebody about our title registration expedite for 3 months. I am getting no luck via email or phone which goes on for hours on hold. I am beyond outraged with the response from this establishment.

I had a problem with the recorded address of my property which would have derailed an approaching remortgage completion if not corrected. The Officer I spoke to about the problem was able to swiftly update the record. Consequently I have nothing but praise for the professional and sympathetic manner in which I and my problem was dealt with. Thank you HMLR/LS

Been trying to speak to somebody for months, after holding for a minimal of 45 mins the phone just cuts off or my free time expires. I had bought my ex husband out of the family home and the transfer was made last 1st September 2022, however they still have not completed the deeds transfer. I've since been trying to get a new deal but no one will touch me, as they still have not been completed the deed transfer to my sole name, so without my home in my sole name, I cannot remortgage or even move. I am now facing financial difficulties, stressing times and extortionate interest rates due to the lack of anybody seeming to work at the Land registry .
