Who ever from your practice put Zuma to sleep / killed him, I hope this lies very heavy on your conscious for life. We had a place for him ahead of your actions and he had a full life ahead of him. Goes against ALL codes of practice for vets . Absolutely fuming

Any vets who are happy to put a healthy dog to sleep just because the owner asks them to are at the very least ethically and morally reprehensible. RIP Zuma and shame on the vets responsible. An utterly tragic and outrageous outcome for a dog who had an offer of a rescue space. Why why why?

Georgina and Sam have accompanied our old cat Marius in his last moments 2 weeks ago, with utmost attention, kindness and care, supporting us in this difficult moment. The practice has always been great with him. Thank you.

I was looking to have my cat Neutered and chipped and to also register with a new vet. When I first arrived in the morning (19/09) I walked in I was greeted promptly and politely by lady in purple with tied back grey hair behind the front desk. I said what the cat needed done and was told they have appointments available. Great I thought. I have to go into surgery for few days in November so needed it done asap so I could get my cat into a cat hotel for a few days whilst I’m in hospital. I am in receipt of benefits due to disability, however I came across this place thanks to the Cats Protection who informed me that they were part of the £10 neutering scheme. As soon as I mentioned that to her, the attitude completely shifted. I was told that would require a wait of some time. At first it was 2 months and then it became 4 before being told that the wait could be even longer than that. I understand a waiting list for people using the scheme but if appointments were already available then why couldn’t I have one of those. It was never explained to me. She was pretty blunt and didn’t even say when the first slot was available. Her tone was pretty cold towards me so I wasn’t feeling very welcome at this point. I was here for my pet not to be judged on my social standing.I was fortunate to have a friend with me at the time. He asked how much the surgery would cost without being part of the scheme. He has a Greek accent but she pulled a face and looked at him like he wasn’t even speaking English. He repeated himself twice and she just said “it’s £10 with the scheme but we have no appointments just yet” which wasn’t what he had asked at all. I put it down as a misunderstanding and I asked the same thing he had. She then tapped away at the computer for a second and then looked up at me with a blank expression and said “you will be looking at around £150- £170 depending on size and age of the cat”.From my understanding, age and size shouldn’t even be a factor into cost of the procedure however I was being told otherwise.Everywhere online states it shouldn’t cost more than £100 so why such an increase. It was almost like she just didn’t care for me and wanted me to leave. That’s a huge price difference from what I had seen online and from what the Cats Protection had informed me of.I had also visited 2 other local veterinary practices that morning and one quoted me £100 and the other was £101. Much more affordable and reasonable.I had also received much better customer service from both of those places..My friend then asked her “why so much?” And she again just stared at him like he was an alien or something. I again had to repeat what he had said and was simply told “that’s how it is”At that point I decided that this place really wasn’t for me or my cat.I remained polite at least, thanked her for her time and left. I was surprised to hear her say “bye” back to me.I ended up booking up elsewhere - not taking advantage of the £10 offer because the vet I chose didn’t take part in that scheme, however my friend has paid for the procedure to be done.I am sure the vets are nice people beyond reception but the level of customer service I received was utterly disgusting. I felt judged the second I mentioned benefits. Like I said upon entry I was greeted so well and the only thing, in my mind, that caused her to become dismissive and blunt with me was the mention of help financially. Or she could have possibly just been racist towards my friend. Who knows? The price too was also ridiculously high.I wasn’t expecting that amount and I can’t help feel she lied just to get me out of there, however if that is what they actually charge then they are blatantly scamming people and are not in it for the wellbeing of the animals but to exploit the owners to simply make money.I am glad I booked elsewhere anyway.I had a much warmer reception in the vets less than 2 miles away and although I (my friend) paid more than I was expecting to pay, I feel a lot more confident that my little baby is in the best care.

The kind and gentle care was exemplary. My little kitten Stacey was in excellent hands. And everything for her operation was explained so beautifully. Thank you so very much.

I called at 12.10pm today, as our dog, Truffles, had something in his ear.Placed on hold, whilst friendly receptionist spoke to the vet.Asked if we had been on the common recently, as lots of dogs were coming in with grass seeds. Best to come in as soon as possible, could we come in at 1pm.Lovely vet saw Truffles and tried their best, with a bit of assistance from me, to see if they could get a proper look in his ear. Switched me out for another vet, to see if two of them could persuade Truffles to stay still. No luck, so left Truffles in their hands for sedation and removal.Picked up a sleepy Truffles at 3.45, job done. Thanks to everyone at Westside Veterinary Clinic. You were a great team today.

I recently had an appointment fir my dog to have his Librela monthly injections that were being charged at £66 pound a time. However the vet gave him his monthly jab and then there was an issue with the bill as it was coming up as £85 . I was told they needed to check this out and with that I left . I had to wait three days for them to get back to me even though I was getting annoyed with having to wait to settle my monthly bill .However they did get back to me and they have jumped the price up to £85 scandalous what a jump no warning no explanation not even to the vets . However I was so annoyed how I was treated even with a discount of paying £70 they have lost me as a client sheer greed I found another vet charging £ 60 so moved his care after being with them for years ghey are ripping people off .
