Ward End Park
My claim to fame is that I actually added this Ward End Park Google map pin over 10 years ago. It has since had millions of views. I have always had a love for this park, right from when I was a child, when you could hire a boat on the lake. It was definitely a day out. Since that time, the park has been through so many changes, from when the boathouse was burnt down, neglect, and a haunt for local ruffians, to how it is today, with the lovely cafe (which is a great idea). It is great to see that there is a lot of community interaction now, and with the funds from HS2, some very nice additions have been made, like the walk by the brook and the woodland walk. If the community continues to engage, there is a lot less likely that it will fall into neglect. I encourage everyone who visits to treat this beautiful facility with respect.

Ward End Park
Awesome place to stretch the legs and take the children. There's a variety of activities including Sundays football and cycling clubs. All you need to do is attend on the day no equipment needed. It also host yearly events that attracts a funfair.

Ward End Park
The bus was too full and rather uncomfortable so we decided to leave. Then the driver told everyone to leave becayse bus broke down. We sat in the park for a while then caught an almost empty bus. It was a beautiful day to enjoy the lake and flowers anyway

Ward End Park
A great park for walkers, dog walkers, cyclist, kids and all ages. Some kids were playing cricket, some of them playing football and some of them were busy in exercise. Clean and well maintained park. There are some charges for parking. Luckily I got space outside the park.

Nice park. Clean and friendly environment. They've recently done rejuvenation projects, making the park look and feel a lot nicer. The larger kids' play area needs a do over and bringing back the rowing boats at the dolphin centre will definitely attract more people to the park.
