Could be a lovely pub but it's dirty needs a lick of paint, the stairs needed a good sweeping and mopping specially if you are going to have any occasion it just not good. Parking is terrible there is nowhere to park it's not appropriate place. The staff are lovely people they've helpful and friendly.

It's good, we just need to get more people going so it doesn't close down again. Also great that the kitchen is open again. I would add though there was an extremely strong smell of dog poo by the fire on Saturday but we couldn't find it...might pay to have a hunt around there!

Really enjoyed the pub by far the best place in East Ham. Great selection of beer and good food. Sausage rolls were also amazing!

Really nice pub! Great fish and chips, many different beers in tap and really really nice staff! Also quite family friendly.

With recent revamp & new management, this pub is easily one of my favourites in East Ham! Great vibe, cosy & full of charming character. Spacious & airy. Excellent selection of drinks & amazing food... loved their vegan burger! I am already looking forward to coming back here soon.

Such a beautiful building (listed) and the promise of an old fashioned Victorian experience. I used to frequent this pub in the 1980's and it was a great place to be. I pop into East Ham occasionally and used to drink in the Millers (spoony) but this was closed. So we popped into the Denmark Arms to see what had changed.The service was good but then again hardly anyone was in at around 17:30 on a Saturday evening. I purchased 2 pints of lager (no crisps) and the cost was £11.80. Extremely steep but a lot of trendy pubs are having to do this.The interior of the rub-a-dub is quite run down and needs a massive referb. But I know that is very expensive and being a listed building more so. It's nothing like I used to know and felt somewhat saddened by this as it deserves more. However that cannot be achieved if punters don't visit. The toilets were disgusting so that was very off putting.I suppose it is a real impossible task for the landlord/lady to improve the interior when there are no funds about. We stayed for the single pint and went home and purchased beers to drink at home. Not an ideal way to support the local boozers but this is a sign of the times. No
