Wickes is my go-to store for building materials, great for wood, cement, plaster and paint ect. They sell most things the building trade or home DIY need. They also sell hand and power tools. The staff are very friendly knowledgeable and helpful.

I have used Wickes for most of my materials since they first moved to Hull and their store on Hedon Road. I do not however, take kindly to being insulted and called a bigot by their Chief Ops Officer and will intend to take heed of his warning that bigots such as I are not welcome in your store so will not be using them in the future. Leave the woke garbage within the walls of your offices in future.

Staff are usually very helpful and the quality of most products are good. Staff will assist disabled customers with heavy items into their vehicle. Being a smaller depot their range is occasionally out of stock. Prefer Wickes to the other big DIY shed where the staff are less proactive.

Got help with choosing suitable items - sizes etc, help with getting heavy items loaded into boot of car. Staff very helpful and cheery. No complaints!
