Pre booked a cab via the app for the next morning, after waiting 10 minutes we called only to be nonchalantly told we're too busy" when we stated we booked the evening before we were told " we're too busy" no apologies at all. Terrible service avoid at all costs."

Very quick and efficient service. I contacted them and had arranged a cab to pick me up, however an error on my part, I had provided the wrong address. The driver contacted me and I realised what I had done. I contacted the main control room who were very understanding that it was a simple error/misjudge on my part. They then proceeded to arrange a replacement driver to pick me up so I could still make it to my appointment on time!Thank you very much Five Eights! Your service and understanding is amazing and I will continue using your services going forwards! #reliable!

Easily one of the best taxi companies I’ve used. Made things really nice and easy and simple for me. Called up, booked within a minute, driver arrived earlier than expected and happily waited for me even though I was running late and was really polite and friendly during the drive. 10000% recommend these guys if your in the area, won’t regret it

AVOID!ordered a taxi for 5am, asked on WhatsApp if my booking worked and was assured that everything was alright. Nevertheless my booking was canceled just before 5am without any notice, I had to check by myself, and without any explanation.

Rang for a taxi this morning for 8.20 the man sounds like I work him up. Could not upstand him at first so ask to repeat he said geez we have no taxis was so so rude. Completely hobble.

I have used 588888 Taxis several times, and I'm consistently impressed with their service. The drivers are incredibly polite and professional, making each journey a pleasant experience. The affordable prices are a bonus, and it's reassuring to know that they're always available when I need a ride. Highly recommended for their reliability and excellent customer service.

I have been using Darul at five eights for almost 15 years now and I couldn’t be happier with his service. I first used five eights to be picked up from Ipswich and brought back to Colchester, It could always be worrying as you never knew if the taxi would actually turn up (I’ve been left stranded before by other taxi companys). Once time I had Daryl pick me up and since that night I would always request him if he was working. He was very friendly, chatty and genuine and we all felt comfortable in his company. I always knew he would be there on time and he has never let me down over all the years. He would always wait for me to get into my house before he drove off, and coming from a female on her own I felt his to be very caring and going above and beyond to make sure I got home safely. I miss our chats now, I’m a bit older and don’t go out as often, so don’t get as many taxis now, but I wouldn’t use anyone else.

5 Eights have always been a reliable minicab firm when I needed them. They've never let me down. I find their drivers very respectable and polite. I highly recommend 5 Eights.
