I haven't quite figured out why they ended the pancakes because all the students loved it. The coffee isn't from any sort of machine whatsoever, just coffee they mix with boiling water, and it's not cheap either. The food is reasonably good and the service is amazing. The atmosphere is also really good and it's a nice place to watch sports. You just shouldn't buy coffee to do so.

We booked a bottomless brunch and had Izzy for our waitress she was absolutely wonderful kept coming over making sure we was okay and had enough drinks even before we left due to the bare being busy she gave us a complimentary drink. Absolute amazing customer service for Izzy. The food as well was fantastic spot on,

Young crowd (mostly in the large beer garden) in what essentially is a pub with loud playlist music. Staff were friendly. Definitely a good place to start. We walked passed about 0100 and it was still just as busy in the garden

We were in the area, had 30 mins to spare and wanted to grab a hot drink and I was pleasantly surprised that they do Vegan milk alternatives in The Phoenix.Had we more time I would have definitely checked out their food menu.As it was, we just had a good ol cuppa and admired the creativity of the decor.The staff were super friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was really nice and I will likely go back, when in the area and have a little more time.

Came for Bottomless Brunch for the second time and it was a fantastic experience. A really warm and welcoming environment and Izzy was absolutely fantastic - she couldn’t do enough to help the large party. I hope that the management team see this and give her the recognition she deserves. Brunch is a great price and I would 100% recommend this venue.

Power hungry bouncers at this club. Queuing outside tonight when someone opened the side door claiming they were staff and letting people in that way. Around 15 people went in. 90% girls. However I was the only one called out and was kicked out by bouncers and staff. I tried to explain what had happened and that I was happy to rejoin the line and show my ID. However the bouncer outside refused to listen and made me leave. Absolutely power hungry and rude staff. Would not recommend.

We hired out the room upstairs for a baby shower and had a buffet too. The room was lovely, with music playing, we were allowed to decorate the room. It was tucked out of the way so we were not really disturbed or in the way of customers. We did have a few strays venture up but they were very apologetic when they realised we were a private function. The buffet was just wow!! I have no other worlds to explain it, it more than exceeded our expectations and everyone comment on how lovely it was. Really good veggie choices too. Really good value for money too! This is now my number 1 place for any further functions we will be arranging. Thank you again for allowing us to hire your room, I will recommend you to everyone!

.30p wing Wednesday is worth it, probably the best wings in Coventry that I have tried. The castle rivals them only. Have pool upstairs and it’s a fairly busy bar. Good outdoor seating during when the weather cooperates.

It's a nice pub with indoor and outdoor seating. The prices are reasonable. They offer variety of food, and drinks. Their burgers are fine and surprisingly their dumplings are good too. It's a great place to have a night out with friends. Nice thing about this place is they use a DJ app that allows you to choose song from their albums.

Decent pub for food, drink and sport. Can get busy during term time.EDIT, 16/9/23: the Bombay Bird pizza is well worth a try. I don't normally mix Indian and Italian, but Laura behind the bar persuaded us and she was right!
