We asked Mark from MJS Joinery to unify a new flight of stairs with an old one by installing new bannisters, base rails and spindles, and by changing the look of the newels old and new. Talking it through you could tell he knows what he is doing. His quote came best out of two, I felt I he took the job seriously, and he could fit it in fairly soon. He turned up at 8.00 both days and worked with dedication.When I suggested a change in the connection of both the stairs he didn't make me feel a pain even though it took more time. Also there had been some confusion about another part of the job which I thought was included, which wasn't. He decided to do that as a gift anyway, showing he is the gentleman version of a tradesman. Your job is in safe hands with MJS Joinery.

Excellent service

I had a great experience with this company.We needed a kitchen island constructing and the top cutting. I found that many joiners i contacted did not want the job, probably as they considered it too small a job, or not a profitable enough one. Those that did offer to do the job quoted ludicrous sums for what was essentially less than a days work.I was lucky to find mjs joinery who got back to me the quickest and quoted what i thought was a reasonable fee for the work outlined. Others were charging 3 times as much. We were impressed with how quick the work was booked in and completed.The standard of the work was inpeccable. The joiner was thrown under the bus a bit by the supplier providing a work top that was not quite the right size. He was able to improvise andget the job spot on through his own competancy and great workmanship. We are really pleased and would strongly recommend. We will be contacting this company for any future jobs and be recommencing their services to friends, colleagues and neighbours.
