This place fails to get the 3 fundamentals of a local coffee shop/cafe correct.The two ladies serving were lovely, but the man was not.Service is very slow, I waited forever for one takeout drink. While waiting people came to the counter asking where their food was as it was taking so long.I asked for a hot chocolate, not asked for a size, and this tiny cup cost £3.70(?) (See image) - absolutely ridiculous, I wouldn't have minded so much but it tasted so bitter it was undrinkable.So in all:Service - slow and badCost - far too high to justify portionTaste - not goodSeemingly only welcoming of youngsters or influences who are happy to promote their artisan coffee and chocolate"You'll be unable to compete with Costa opposite

Good cafe with a proper barista serving great coffee. Three of us walked in and found seats straight away after ordering our coffees at the till. 90% of their cakes were vegan friendly, which my wife was happy with as she doesn't eat dairy. I ordered carrot cake and it was just as good as any non-vegan sort I've eaten before. The cakes and coffees were brought to us at our table. The latés my wife and her sister ordered were perfect with a lovely pattern on the top. My black Americano was very tasty but I had to order two as they were a little small. I think I would have preferred my coffee to be served in the same cup as the latés.

With Costa right across the road I decided to give a local independent coffee shop some of my business. The coffee was really nice and tasty but the prices are very high. Advice to management, if you really want to compete with a chain like Costa and have more regulars then lower your prices. Over £3 for a flat white is crazy! And between £4 and £6 for things like overnight oats and bagels is too much. Surely you would gain more of a following if you were cheaper than the Costa across the road but as it stands you aren't offering an appealing alternative.

The service was very friendly. The carrot cake was good but the New York bagel wasn't anything special.For an independent cafe, the bagel was a disappointment. For the cost, it should have been high quality and not minimum amounts of filling.

Wanting breakfast to go I spotted a Costa, parked up, walked back and this place caught my eye instead. Almond croissant top quality and the small but perfectly done cappuccino was seriously exquisite. It genuinely cheered me up that I chose this place. Prices decent considering the excellent quality, just over £6 which is a fiver less than the hotel offered which I didn’t get because who wants their body weight in cooked breakfast just to make the cost worthwhile (well, probably me on a leisurely start day with a nap afterwards but this wasn’t that day). Highly recommend, shame I didn’t have time to sit in. Nice decor and china too, from what I saw.

A beautiful start to the day, the friendliest staff, tasty food and coffee. Plus calming, easy going music with big windows letting the sunshine in. Bliss. I couldn't recommend enough, thank you for a lovely morning

Food was great, hot choc was average, coffee was great, service was slow.There was no menu behind the counter so didn’t know what food was on offer so grabbed a blondie and hot chocolate for breakfast.The service was very slow and very cramped inside, had to move the table to be able to get through. I certainly won’t rush back. The out of office coffee house in Stony Stratford was a little better.

Lovely cafe, good tasty coffee and large cakes. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Well worth a visit if you want to try somewhere new and different.
