The food here is excellent. It’s reasonably priced and always hot and tasty. Customer service is ultra friendly, especially the lady who answers the phone. 5 star food hygiene rating too. Highly recommend.

Yum! Never been much of a fan of Chinese food but thought we'd give it a try as something different. The Singapore Vermecelli Special now has us going back time and time again. Great value, nice staff, excellent quality. Deserves all of the praise it gets from other locals.

Edited, upped to 4 stars. Been back three times since and found the food improved from the first two occasions. A little bit more expensive than some of the other local Chinese takeaway but, worth the extra. Actually worth going for the curry sauce alone!Great service, order was ready quickly and very willing to cook things not on the menu. However, the food was overly oily and a little bland compared to other local Chinese food takeaway. Best thing was the stir-fry broccoli (not on the menu) worst thing was probably the chips that seemed to have been cooked multiple times (and cremated each time!). Very average for the price.

Decided to order based on the reviews and a recommendation at our holiday home. The lady who served me was just lovely. The food was good - particularly the chicken balls (crispy and tasty) and chicken chow mein (possibly best chow mein we've had). The sweet and sour sauce was more sweet than anything but ok (just not what I'm used to) and the BBQ ribs were a bit on the dry side and the sauce was not like the usual BBQ sauce - thin and syrupy sweet. All in all if I was staying in Sowerby Bridge again I would use them again and skip the ribs.

First time trying this place and we had a good meal! Wonton soup was nice, salt and pepper chicken and spring rolls were fantastic. Mains yummy and plentiful. Holds a good standard for Halifax :)
