Cardney Steading - Events & Weddings

Wow!What a venue and what 5Star service from the owners.It is picturesque and just perfect. We stayed in one of the lodges on the estate and it was mind-blowing.But what really made it was the service.Nothing is too much bother! Owner happily shuttle runs you to and from the accommodation and main venue. One guest caught a little too much sun and the bar gave her some after sun.The accommodation had literally everything too! Just when you thought oh I forgot to bring ... Not a problem, there's some here!

We got married here on the 16th of September and had the best weekend. The venue itself is stunning with the added bonus of accommodation on site that suited our family perfectly. We have had so many compliments from our guests on the stunning venue and how it fitted us perfectly as a couple.Beth is an absolute superstar who made sure everything ran to plan and kept us on track throughout the day. She was also there whenever we needed her in the run up to the wedding and nothing felt like too big a problem! I would recommend this venue to anyone - thanks Beth! x

I had the good fortune to photograph an unbelievable wedding at this beautiful venue. This is genuinely one of my new favourite places to shoot weddings and I can't wait to get back. The grounds are gorgeous, the staff are extremely welcoming and everything about the place is perfect. If you're on the hunt for a rustic wedding venue then this place is definitely worth checking out.

We were so fortunate to find Cardney and instantly fell in love with the estate. This was the first wedding venue we viewed and from that moment it was obvious nowhere was going to beat it. This idyllic venue is perfectly located on the edge of the Highlands, below some of our favourite hills in which we got engaged a year prior. From our first meeting with Beth, she was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. She was the perfect wedding co-ordinator, answering all of our questions and queries promptly, providing crucial advice and support in the lead up to our special day. The venue offers three potential ceremony locations, catering for those desiring an outdoor ceremony or a rustic barn feel. Couples can either have their ceremony on the lawn by the loch, in their enchanted forest clearing, or in the old mill". We chose the forest clearing

What a fabulous venue, and what a wonderful team of people! Ive photographed weddings for over a decade and NEVER had the opportunity to capture a couple in a rowing boat on their wedding day until I came to Cardney! Goals!!!The views, the expansive hills, forests, lakes... it's so picturesque it's almost overwhelming! If you're looking for a stunning, private, reliable, unique wedding venue in Scotland then look no further. Love it here.

My partner and I got married on 5th July at Cardney and I couldn’t be happier with our choice of venue. We picked Cardney after seeing it in person and just falling in love with the venue. It has total rustic, Scottish charm, with hills/ views/ a Loch and the indoor option is so beautiful (a must in Scotland). The main difference we found here between other farmStyle venues was the in house coordinator Beth who we can’t thank enough for essentially planning our wedding for us and making everything run perfectly on the day, and also the fact it’s one of the few venues that has everything on site furniture and amenities wise.All of our family and friends were just blown away at the venue, it’s just the perfect space if you want a personalised wedding with people organising who genuinely care about you having the best day.Honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. What a fantastic weekend spent at Cardney Steading for our Daughters wedding. The venue is the most idyllic place you could wish for to host a wedding and the staff are the most amazing team that can't do enough to ensure everything runs like clockwork. The sun came out and blessed us all with its warmth and gave us some of the best wedding photographs, as the light just added to the wonderful backdrop of the estate. If your planning a wedding, then you won't go far wrong with Cardney Estate, awesome venue 10 out of 10.

We knew Cardney had to be our wedding venue as soon as we viewed it and we couldn't be happier to have our wedding there this summer. It's such a stunning, picturesque location with loads of character that we were also able to add our own personal touch to.We loved the varied spaces in the venue - we were really lucky to get married loch side in the sunshine, but it was great to have a space for dinner and dancing, a different space for cake cutting / buffet / photo booth, the campfire in the evening. It just all flowed really well - especially with Beth on hand. One of the reasons we chose this venue, aside from its beauty, was Beth's expertise and experience - everyone needs a Beth at their wedding! She was so helpful in the lead up to the wedding, and on the day, just making everything run so seamlessly.All in all, the perfect venue and we'd recommend to everyone!!

we got married here on the 19th August and it was the most perfect weekend ever. The staff went above and beyond and it couldn’t have gone any better. Beth was just amazing, so easy to communicate with and was the most helpful and lovely person. The accommodation was absolutely perfect too and we all had a fab time over the weekend - also a great bonus was our fur babies could come too and got to be a part of our special day! All of our guests absolutely loved the venue and we’ve been having guests still say what a lovely day they had - despite the weather being a little bit iffy!! I would highly recommend cardney to ANYONE who is trying to look for a perfect country rustic style wedding or just the perfect venue in general! If we could do it all over again we would!! love love love
