I recently bought a Phoenix Chanter and it's such a joy to play! The smooth finish of the wood is incredible, the sound enjoyable and the color just pops, I love it.The ordering process was easy and mailing with Geordie about questions was quick and friendly.It took some weeks to arrive due to a delayed delivery of production material but it was well worth the wait. Plus Geordie kept me up to date about the status of the order which I very much appreciated.I can only recommend Maverick Chanters!

Bought a long wetlook glossy one to put in my mouth and blow! Yes yes if you're on the wrong site please re-type address carefully as this is for the Maverick long length bagpipe practice chanter.The chanter is absolutely spot on in every way. Looks, feel, sound and for the Scotsmen, the price!I bought the dedicated case at the same time and this could literally be dropped from outer space and still protect the contents.If you are looking for a professional chanter then look no further. The customer services are second to none and in my case even answered queries on a Sunday afternoon.I would recommend this product without the slightest hesitation AAA+++

I ordered the Black Widow for my son and he is absolutely over the moon. Beautiful craftsmanship, great communication and a lovely sound. Highly recommended!!I have added a photo but it really doesn’t do it justice. It is a work of art.

I bought a Maverick Long Blue steel" chanter for my sons Xmas last year

I had been playing my plastic practice chanter for some time and decided to upgrade. After coming across Maverick with no prior knowledge of this company, I looked on YouTube for some reviews and found one by Matt Willis Bagpiper. After watching his video I was sold.I went ahead and purchased the long Carbon model with the case, which I cannot recommend enough, then later ordered a Carbon cap/reed protector to match my chanter. Geordie kindly put the orders together and I received everything today, including some sweets which was a nice touch.No picture, video or review gives justice to how amazing these chanters really are. As soon as I held mine I realised that this is true work of a master craftsman. The amount of detail that is put into it is second to none. Not only does it feel amazing to play, but it sounds like no other chanter I have ever heard.Geordie sent me an email to inform me that he had started turning my chanter, maybe just over a week later it was in my hands. Albeit the wait may seem off-putting, every second was worth it. Do not hesitate if you are thinking of buying one, you will have zero regret.10/10 chanter10/10 customer serviceRory.
