Little did I imagine it could be repaired so swiftly and expertly. JWS has worked on our Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 35 over the winter. We have had the bottom copper coated and took John’s advice to replace the seacocks at the same time. We were concerned about the condition of the P bracket and sure enough on blasting this off it was clearly time for a new one. With the work complete, a few touch ups to the gel coat and a polish our boat is now looking very smart. We are very happy with the quality of the work and particularly pleased with how easy the communication has been. John has kept us informed of progress all the way, posting lots of photos of the work. Highly recommended

Took my 6.5m Scorpion RIB to have some work done on the tubes and central consul.The estimate for the work I was given was competitive and this did not increase as work was done, fantastic.John kept me updated throughout and I was delighted with the work when it was finished. Our 30ft motor cruiser was taken in for Osmosis treatment. John discovered additional structural defects after peeling and, in consultation with our surveyor, put a repair schedule together. Throughout the process John kept me updated with photos and phone calls. His knowledge and experience is second to none and he works to the most highest and exacting standards. Would always go back to JWS for any hull work.

John did an amazing job of bringing a 40 year old wooden Osprey back to life for me. Not just a fantastic paint job but all sorts of fiddly extras like new self bailers, moving fittings around and invisible repairs of past damage. He is a real craftsman and everything was exactly as quoted. Couldn’t be more pleased.

We have just collected our Beneteau Antares 30 flybridge after having her windscreen removed, cleaned and re-bedded. It is a known issue with this model of Beneteau that the bonding of the windscreen breaks down over time causing the heavy toughened glass windscreen sections to move in heavy seas and to leak. As the windscreen is structural it is especially disconcerting to have this happen and is a major safety concern.We were fortunate to find JWS Marine Services who were willing to take on the job of rectifying the problem. We met with John Shaw, the MD of the company. John is extremely knowledgable and experienced and a really lovely guy. He explained that the company has previous experience of this job and gave us complete confidence that our boat would be in safe hands.The quotation that John provided was very detailed with a full cost breakdown. During the work John and Amy kept us up-to-date with progress and lots of photographs. The job was completed to perfection and considering how invasive the work was we were impressed by how clean the boat was on return to us. John apologised for the work having taken marginally longer than expected but considering that he had to order new seals from Beneteau in France who in turn had to go out to their supplier and have the materials manufactured to order we were surprised with how quickly the job was completed.I would unreservedly recommend JWS Marine Services to carry out work on your boat and would not hesitate to use the company again.
