They only care about car drivers. Cyclists and pedestrians cannot enter from Marmion Road. The store is a depressing mess and is covered in graffiti. Very sad to see it decline. Surely they can allow one way entry like they did many years ago. I can understand entry and exit from Marmion Road is a security risk from a theft point of view, so simply implement a one way system for those that want to arrive on foot or by bicycle.

Ordered on Uber eats some groceries. They didn’t have cherry tomatoes and instead of offering an alternative like Sainsbury’s do I got refunded. When I phoned to ask if the alternative can just be regular tomatoes instead. I was told I had to do it through Uber Eats. Which isn’t a thing, they’d have to send a request for me to be able to choose an alternative. I suggested if they could do that and was told “they don’t send alternatives as it would take too long waiting for the customer to choose and they don’t have time to wait” just very poor customer service for a place like Waitrose.

A nice branch of Waitrose with very friendly staff members.There’s a big car park and let me attach the tariff for it. (Free parking up to 30 mins for even non-customers. Free parking up to 2 hours for customers who spend more than £10.)It can be slightly confusing as to where the main entrance for your first visit, but it can be directly accessed from the car park, i.e. if you find yourself leaving the car park to find the entrance, it is not a good sign - it is the mistake I made. Alternatively, try to follow people from the car park :)Spacious branch with plenty of tills - even at the back of the branch for baskets only so it is quite convenient.

I go shopping on a Monday usually, but have now decided this is pointless as of the regular things we buy there we are lucky to get half of them. We then have to shop twice a week. How is this helping people economise?
