Scrivens hearing Centre Gosport is definitely to be avoided. My 84 year old husband was referred for nhs hearing aids , we got appointment on 3rd November. The moulds were taken and we were told they would be ready in a couple of weeks. After waiting for 3 weeks was told on phone ( they didn't contact us at all ), things were taking bit longer, no idea why. Next week was told the audiologist did not have diary for next years appointments, NEXT YEAR !!!!!. Phoned following week can't get appointment before end February. As a matter of interest, phoned Scrivens in Waterlooville they say 2 weeks for nhs. Something obviously wrong with Gosport

Friendly making sure I was comfortable with the hearing test received my new hearing aides .

Very basic eye test, no retina photograph, new frames not checked for fit.Boots for example do a pre machine test with a retina photo followed by a thorough clinical test and frame fitting

In march, my wife had an eye test. She told, it was best test ever. Test was very detailed. After test, she received new glasses, in which she saw in best way ever without movinhg head - close distance, far one and computer reading ( after specifying position, where screen is). All staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful. I can't give more stars but in our case they deserve it.

I went to Scrivens for a hearing test after many years. The lady that conducted the test was excellent. She explained everything clearly and showed me the test readings on her screen. She gave me new hearing aids that were remotely set up to my hearing levels. I was very happy how clear everything sounded.I would recommend anyone thinking of having a hearing test to use Scrivens.The cater for NHS and private clients.They are so popular, they have a long waiting list. I had to wait 3 months, but it was worth the wait.

Been waiting for my mum's appt for ages as they said they would phone me when they had more appointments in? Tried ringing them many times no answer

Friendly staff ready for me at my appointed time, slick and efficient guidance through a variety of tests for both hearing and eyesight. Clear recommendations given with a booklet to reinforce and a smile at the end of it. We'll done Scrivens. The only wish would be that the optometrist would slow down her speech as her accent was tricky to understand at times.

Quick appointment, (same day) diagnosis & treatment given. Oh! & a pair of broken glasses repaired - fanku
