I recently moved to West Moors from somewhere closer to Wimborne. I’ve not found anywhere better so still make the journey. Best lobsters and home smoked salmon.

Always friendly and great fish and seafood. Currently open from 10 - 12 so there can be a queue but not always. Booking your order via email/phone and prepayment via BACS is the best technique to avoid disappointment and possible queueing. If you queue, payment is cash only.

John Bell is a master of his craft. Fish so fresh you can almost still smell the sea. This is not supermarket fish cheap, cheerful and thawed. No it's not cheap but the flavours and textures are like comparing diamonds to rhinestones. The choice and the advice are superb, plus all there are great characters who truly know fishmongering.
