Couldn’t find the southern fried chicken as it had been moved, so I asked a lovely Tesco worker called Hannah. She looked it up and found it for me. Hannah was immediately helpful and I would like to thank her so much. She said that she didn’t work on fresh produce but she found the item. She was so happy and so helpful, so thank you so much Hannah.

Bought a relatively expensive bottle of wine which was tagged.. When the purchase was being approved at the self scan checkout, I pointed out that I needed the tag removing. Informed that I would needed to pay first. Assistant did not wait for me to pay and needed to be called back. Informed the assistant that I had paid but she insisted on checking the receipt to check the wine had been scanned. Not sure this was an over zealous employee or store policy. Either way, my last visit. I am 65 and I don't want to be assumed to be a shoplifter until I prove otherwise.

I regularly shop at Tesco when ever I do my food shop regardless of where I am usually Tesco’s stores that are classified superstores are usually large in size with everything you could possibly think of with a wide range of items but this store seems to be really small with not a lot of variety the shelves also seem rather empty! It’s an ok store but not the best Tesco’s in comparison.

Great selection buts dates on alot of stock are next day or two days, bought custard doughnuts to find they went out of date the same day and this was from the fresh section.

Now ANPR HERE!!! Used to be boy racers doing donuts, wheel spins and racing across the car park almost every evening. Likewise they race around Meir Park Estate and use the A50 as a race track. Published in local news papers. Police well aware and toothless. Boy racers crashed into my car here, then raced off. Wrecked my car, Tesco not interested, now all my cost.Tesco have since installed a parking eye ANPR system. This has stopped most of the boy racer issues. So I have increased my star rating.

I visited the café for lunch today and Tina, the lady (who also happens to be the manager) was amazing. Her customer service skills were so good, she answered all my questions in regards to my dietary requirements and reassured me. I saw her with other customers helping them carry their tray to their table. She's absolutely amazing and definitely should be recognized for going above and beyond. Definitely coming back here again because of her :)

The store is within walking distance and the carpark is large, but often almost full most times of the day. You enter through the left side entrance and exit via the other side. The store is well stocked and it is relatively easy to navigate, also the staff are super friendly and helpful in find items if you don't know where they are. The also have a fish mongers the hat sells fresh fish which is great for people who like fresh fish.
