Randomly looking for a place for coffee and cake. Really glad we found OakHill. Food was tasty and good value for money. Owners lovely - we had a good chat. You have a great view of the castle next door and there's plenty of parking should you need.

First visit and won't be the last. Beautiful location and interior decor. We both had soup which was homemade and so tasty.Sandwiches so fresh and salt beef was deliciousStaff are so friendly and welcoming.Definitely would recommend

Just stopped to get a take-away coffee but was delighted that they could make fresh gluten free sandwiches so had one as well - smoked salmon, cream cheese and rocket. Worth the wait for a lovely tasty sandwich.Nice toilets too.

Lovely spot to stop for brunch, food fresh, coffee great, staff really friendly. Wheel chair access. We had the sausage rolls which were excellent, good menu.

Had a lovely breakfast here. The food was delicious and the gentleman serving us was so lovely and helpful. We also ordered some food to go for our journey and was very accommodating.Super dog friendly too.Highly reccomend.

What a wonderful place to stop for good quality deli food and some supplies too. Coffee and food is first rate, all served with a friendly smile. Lovely indoor and outside seating, off road parking, a gem not to miss.

The food is very good. The smoked salmon products are super yummy. The small restaurant atrached to the shop is quite cosy. The ruin of a little castle gives the place a quaint atmosphere.

Some initial research had guided us to this cafe. It seemed to be an ideal spot to have breakfast en-route to Cairnryan for the ferry to Northern Ireland.We arrived at opening time (9am) and we received a very warm welcome. The breakfast (their breakfast wrap) was delicious, the premises were impeccably clean, and the service was excellent.A gem of a find and we’ll certainly make a return visit. We’d recommend everyone to pay them a visit if you’re in the area.

Found this wonderful bistro whilst driving home, stopped for breakfast I had the breakfast signature wrap, my husband had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, both were outstanding. service was excellent, owners very attentive, and friendly. Would highly recommend a visit here.
