Morley Convenience Store

Fat old lady behind the counter was very rude. Went to buy a tango ice blast, bought one and she accused me to stealing one another. Was wearing a t shirt and shorts… where was I suppose to hide it… down my pants!!! Avoid this shop looks decent on facebook when it’s actually just rubbish.

I took my 3 Evri parcels in after work and after struggling carrying them all in i was told by the young girl behind the counter very rudely and in front of a shop full of customers I couldn’t drop them off and would have to bring them back again the next morning which I couldn’t due to work commitments…I drove to another Evri drop off point and left them there easily… I will be putting in a complaint with Evri also

Great shop always friendly with fully stocked shelves

A very busy little shop with very friendly staff i have been a customer there now for around 11 years and have never been offended by any member of staff i always have a little chat with them everytime im in their shop shelves are always stacked and staff are slways busy its my favourite shop of all time keep up the good work

Walked in this shop to buy a few things and all I could hear was a member of staff swearing while talking to the owner behind the counter, f&## tw## was a few choice words I heard.The owner served me while continuing to talk to the women who was swearing. I said thanks and he just turned away and continued talking, rude and very unprofessional. I'm sure his parents and grandparents that started the shop would be very proud. Disgusting.

We love this place. Order about twice a week, lovely friendly family owned business and the delivery lady comes so often she knows my family. We love the variety such a little find if your in and around morley. Thankyou guys!!!!

First time went to drop off an Evri parcel and the lady told us they won’t accept large size parcels after 5pm. Second time went to drop off a small parcel, got told they won’t accept any parcels after 5pm. The shop closes at 10pm. Please at least update these ‘drop off times’ with the Evri website.

I left this area in the 1970s, having been born here and lived locally and have extremely fond memories of the old shop which was on this site, google it, Claude Bostock, in the 70sit still sold vinegar and spirits from a barrel, bring your own container and butter and cheese cut to order.What is here now in this row of Georgian houses is an abomination. I’ve been inside once and felt utter dispair. The poor people who,live opposite having to look at what is here nowAnd paying rates for doing so.All the bins left outside, councils fault.A lovely old shop ruined beyond repair. The local council should be held to account for allowing this eyesore to be here.

Incredibly rude and unhelpful member of staff, I was made to feel like an inconvenience being in the store. It was a larger lady that served me, I’ve had issues with the same member of staff previously. This lady should not be in a customer facing role. I won’t be going back to this store again purely due to this member of staff.

Mostly love this shop esp momma India who’s lovely… but when being nice and friendly the long term owner came up with some politics about Britain. Stealing £3tn from India. He’s normally sound but obvs has some deep hate of Britain.
