I have been a lifelong athlete and seen my fair share of professionals! Rob is an exceptional practitioner in every aspect. From his encyclopaedic knowledge to his practical and clear treatment protocols, I would trust him in everything physio. I have also seen first hand the care he has given to my parents, following a serious car accident and cannot emphasise enough how fundamental he has been to their physical and mental rehabilitation. I was referred to Deal Physiotherapy Clinic by my GP for back, leg & knee pain. Robert immediately recognised & diagnosed my issues & referred me for a prompt MRI whilst explaining how & why I was feeling pain & discomfort. Within a few weeks I was well on my way to recovery, thank you.Robert knows his stuff, would recommend him to anyone looking for a professional knowledgeable Physiotherapist.

While on holiday with my family in Deal a few weeks ago, I pulled my back severely. Rob from Deal Physiotherapy Clinic was nothing short of incredible.I had two appointments with a day between each & am now fully recovered.Rob has an amazing reassuring manner. I saw Rob regarding my left hand disability from an accident where I fell through a glass door at home and from the moment of impact, was unable to flex my index finger at the first joint. The hand specialists I had been referred to from hospital recommended me for Tenolosis and I was told that scarring was preventing me being able to move my injured finger. My best friend recommended Rob and I booked an appointment where he really listened to my concerns, examined me thoroughly, did a lot of research work and wrote a detailed report and formed a referral letter for my GP. He really helped me understand the mechanics of my hand issue and why the specialists had recommended tenolosis as the best course of treatment. (Rob's explanation was invaluable to me as I have autism and was struggling desperately with not understanding what had happened to me physically). He is a very kind, patient, professional practitioner with a real understanding ASD and helped me enormously. I would recommend without hesitation. N.L.

I was originally treated by Rob when I was just 17 years old. I’d been having problems with my Knee following a Football injury and had been in and out of hospital for 12-months without any progress.Upon my first session with Rob, he was able to quickly diagnose that I had been dealing with an ACL tear for a year. Rob recommended I returned to the hospital for a scan, which identified the tear and led to a Knee Reconstruction Surgery.Rob supported me with aftercare following the surgery, helping me gain back motion of my knee and advising on exercise and training routines to follow.I can happily say that I am able to play football again thanks to the support of Rob. Without his advice, I dread to think how long it would have taken me to get correctly diagnosed.It’s worth noting that Rob is a family friend, however I would have no hesitation recommending him to anyone that needs support.

I have been attending Rob for at least five years for a variety of skeletal problems, his knowledge and explanation prior to treatment is always very reassuring. Exercises are given with clear instructions. Would always recommend Rob.

I have used Rob many times over the last 10 to 15 years firstly as an NHS referral and secondly as a private patient, I trust this man’s judgement 100% is very very knowledgeable in his field,he has treated me for predominantly for shoulder impingement issues due to ongoing arthritis due to my history in weightlifting and bodybuilding, more recently for a back issue which at the moment seems to have calmed down I cancelled the appointment at the 11th hour,Rob was very understanding and no cancellation fee was charged! He has treated me with cortical steroids and with Ostinell injections over the years ,I have found his method of injection is as non-invasive as it Can be, and every time I felt a massive improvement,as opposed to some of the Cortizone injections I have had from registered physicians and surgeons which have caused me nothing but pain for 2 to 3 days after, rob has a very caring bedside manner and is a genuinely decent guy who really does care about his patients and their after-care going above and beyond every single time I have recommended him to several of my friends who also say the same thing, this is your go to physiotherapy for any and all issues you may have,I thoroughly recommend Rob, The man instantly puts you at ease, as he did for myself from my first appointment,we struck up a rapport Over our mutual interest in sports in general. so closing now I cannot recommend Rob and his clinic enough if You are reading this review you have any doubts please do not hesitate,this is your go to guy and clinic,Thanks Rob!Regards Anthony.

My husband and son recommended I go and see Rob, because of the great results and service they both received. Over the past five months I've been referred to Rob over two issues I was having. with my neck and back/leg. Both times I've found Rob to be very professional and knowledgeable towards the issues I've had and discussed everything thoroughly with me before starting treatment and down to the exercises he's given me to do at home. Would highly recommend to anybody else needing help.

Rob treated a frozen shoulder over a couple of months, to start with I could barely get my arm parallel to the ground and through his skills and my pain tolerance we got my arm vertical to the ground and the shoulder moving freely in around ten weeks. Did I enjoy the sessions, in one way no as the treatment for a frozen shoulder is uncomfortable, but Rob is friendly, engaging and very encouraging. He has the latest technology to help explain what has gone wrong and how we were going about treating it. Rob made follow up calls to check on my progress and I’d thoroughly recommend his services.

I was recommended to see Rob by a friend, it is the best thing I have done in a long time. I have had a back problem for over 30 years and was getting desperate. Robs knowledge about the skeleton and muscular systems of the body is amazing, he is very professional and has very high standards. Rob was able to pinpoint the problem within minutes. He is very empathic and a great listener. He gives me exercises which help my limited flexibility and without him I wouldnt be able to move at all. With Rob it isnt about money but to help my quality of life which I am now getting, so I would really recommend him.
