Excellent service. Local and convenient (we are a London based PLC but were all working from home for a period of time so needed a local Notary). Additionally, Hesham arranged a courier to ensure the documents reached Dubai on schedule, securing the transaction we were working on. Would highly recommend and use again.

The only thing more stressful than a court battle, is fighting a court case from a different country! Am so grateful H&S were open during the holiday season, when everyone else seemed to be unavailable. Charmaine is super professional and helpful. The Notary was incredibly patient with me after I arrived late for my appointment and took forever to locate my proof of residence.But in the end, thanks to the top shelf team at H&S, I was able to file my affidavit ahead of the 3pm deadline.

I was accepted for a job abroad as a Science teacher in Doha since May 2022 from London. I had done my research to find a Notary solicitor to certify my formal qualifications from the UK to issue a work visa for Qatar as I was educated in the UK and had my teacher training and experience in London for more than 15 years. I had a list of solicitors to contact and once I contacted them they said that specifically Notary solicitor has to do it. So my options were limited. Also most of the firms had closed their offices and they only done this service remotely, which was not a major interest for me. I was recommended to H&S Notary Practice by a local solicitor and they informed me that they have offices open in London, so I could walk in and be assured that I will deal with a person face to face and I would know what was happening each stage of the process. The admin team were very helpful for the initial advice and were quick to allow me to see the solicitor on the same day so that he can explain the process and what documents I need and the estimated fees. I was very happy that I was dealing with a person face to face and I can walk in anytime and ask about the process. I was given an appointment very quickly with the limited time I had, no questions asked.I met with Mr. Husain one of the Notary solicitors there with my mum and he checked my documents to make sure they were correct and stamped them and the process was quickly started. He was helpful and professional in explaining the process to me at each stage. The visa came through quite swiftly after that with no hick ups. I was updated at each stage by phone and email by legalisation team so I was aware what was happening, so I was not left in the larch. I definitely recommend this firm of solicitors for any Notary service you may especially for aboard as they deal with face to face appointments even to get some guidance from them as they are not hesitant to speak to you. Very rude receptionist answering the phones and the service manager is very weak. Way better notaries with better service in London.

I used the H&S on two occasions. The first time there were no issues - Fizza notarised my documents and was really helpful. When I went to use H&S a second time, Fizza helpfully pointed out some discrepancies in the paperwork and suggested I get these changes amended before she notarised the documents. As she had helped me before I agreed to waited a week until she was in again the next Friday to get the issues resolved. I emailed the office on Monday to make sure I could get a Friday appointment with her as agreed, and to ensure I could see her in the morning to ensure the documents were posted out that day. No one replied to my email. I followed up again Thursday to confirm the appointment. It was only then I told Fizza wouldn’t be available due to a family emergency. I was offered a late afternoon appointment but had to find another notary at the last second as the documents were time sensitive. When I complained about the lack of communication I was told that they are ‘a small and busy office’ and that I should have called the office if I needed to book an ‘urgent appointment’. My non-urgent email sent on Monday only became urgent because no one replied until it was too late. In their response to me they also noted that it would not have been possible to have a morning appointment on Friday anyways as the notary is only there in the afternoon. If I had known this sometime before 5pm on Thursday night I would have made alternative arrangements.To add insult to injury, I received a phone call after posting a one-star review about my experience. Normally I’m really pleased when a business takes time to apologize for something and try to make things right, but I didn’t get any sense that I was being offered a sincere apology for what went wrong. Rather, the call was primarily focused on taking down the negative albeit honest review I posted. Two weeks later I received a second phone call - again not to follow up or offer a further apology but only to ask again that I edit my review.I understand that appointments get cancelled at the last minute and that even the best businesses can’t always find last minute solutions. My issue is that I agreed a provisional date to come back for a second appointment, I emailed well in advance to confirm this and confirm a morning slot. I didn’t receive any response at all until I followed up again. I don’t expect an email within an hour or even a day, but four days should be plenty of time to reply to a customer who is arranging a time to come back. If someone had let me know earlier that a Friday morning appointment wouldn’t be possible I would have had time to make alternative arrangements. Unfortunately I was left scrambling to find another notary service at the very last minute. Taking the time to speak to clients when things go wrong and to find ways to make amends is great. Repeatedly calling and asking that negative review be edited isn’t ideal, especially if there isn’t any meaningful reflection on what went wrong in the first placeAs such I’ve amended my review inline with my wider experiences of the practice.

Definitely had the best experience with the entire team. I arrived at their office really stressful in need of urgent service. Mr Hussain was amazing in giving me great advice and helping me out with some exceptional service. The entire team were super friendly and went out of their way to ensure I got what I needed. The pricing was a surprise as I’ve been charged astonishingly high at other places for the same service. Super grateful for Mr Hussain and his team!!!

What an excellent service level and swift turnaround. I have had my POA notarized and apostilled to send back to my home town, and I paid extra for premium services due to very pressing deadline of mine. I found it worth a lot. It’s not merely about the team could arrange total one-stop solution including the international courier services, but they are really friendly, patient, knowledgeable and responsive.
