my printer exploded and killed 28 of my dogs

Whilst the initial service and repair to my machine appeared to be successful the machine developed a fault/erorr in printing within a couple of days. As the machine was still working I didn't want to go to the expense of another visit to correct something that didn't really effect the company and its performance. Recently the machine has stopped working (within 6 months of the service/repair) and the service engineer has stated that it could be a number of things, but without inspecting the machine can't diagnose the fault. He mentioned a couple of things that it may be, which were not part of the previous works, but apparently a limited guarantee is given on the works and the parts so another call out charge would be necessary to which I declined the offer.
