One of London's hidden treasures. This art gallery is tucked away but worth the effort. It's relaxed and very welcoming. Have seen many great exhibitions here for free over the years

Visited Brian Clarke's show again on discovering it had been extended - really worth the visit, some amazing glass works.

Excellent contemporary art gallery housed within a renovated Victorian scenery-painting studio in Vauxhall, south London. The gallery was developed to show art work in the private collection of Damien Hirst. The current show of works by British artist Brian Clarke is excellent. Clarke is best known for his large-scale stained glass work and there is plenty of this in the current show. But there is also a lovely wall of 327 framed collages of flowers and nature. This show is open until the end of 2023 and is well worth a visit. Entry to the gallery is free.

Beautiful gallery, little gem indeed. You don’t need much time to see everything and to explore, but it’s definitely worth the visit.

The Brian Clarke, was one of the most amazing exhibitions I have ever seen.I regret that I had never been aware of his work, I will now search it out.Search BBC 4 colouring light: Brian Clarke - An artist apart (again 5 stars)

On a wet and rainy day, a friend had raved about the gallery so I decided to pop in. It's absolutely lovely and its current exhibition by Brian Clarke: A Great Light really did light up my grey (in every way) day. It's near the river, near Lambeth Bridge and near the super Garden Museum. Free entry to see stunning art and open from 10am till 6pm except Mondays, it's a treasure!

Why this gallery is not more well known I don’t know. The current show of glass by Brian Clarke is amazing and the gallery space is the perfect place to display it. It’s also free to enter! It’s well worth a visit and also walk around what must have been the cafe for a truly immersive Damian Hirst experience.

The design of this gallery is outstanding. Have a look at the exhibits and they usually have really unique ones. One of the best thing is the pharmacy cafe, worth visiting if you are a bit of a nerd!

An excellent gallery to visit, albeit a little out of the way, but highly suited to inclusion for a stroll along the South Bank of the Thames too, between Vauxhall and Westminster bridges. Arrived there to view a stained glass and leadwork exhibition by Brian Clarke and went away far from disappointed. Both the architectural aspects of the gallery and its cafe, as well as the exhibition were both very interesting and enjoyable, with Clarke's work excellently displayed. The shear onslaught of colours, as brilliant as your monitor or TV display, made a refreshing difference to viewing paintings and sculptures. Will be watching to see what other exhibitions occur here, to visit again. An experience unlike those in the dim vaults of cathedrals.
