Chose this place based on Google reviews and unfortunately we were disappointed.I ordered the 7oz Gammon steak and it turned up overcooked, burnt and flavourless.The chips served with it were cheap oven chips and not freshly cooked and the peas were also weren't fresh.The only good thing on the plate was the egg.My partner ordered the chicken wrap and while it was palletable, it also turned up with the same terrible chips instead of the Doritos it was supposed to come with.

Firstly if we hadn’t of asked for a receipt we would never of known one of the 3 adult meals was missing, we asked for dirty fries and just got normal which then had to be sent back and done, which resulted with the other food on the plate not being very warm. The chicken dippers on the 2 of the 3 kids meals was over cooked, when plates was removed from table we asked for the deserts (3 x kids 1 adult) about 15 minutes later the adult dessert was brought out, we then had to wait nearly a hour & half for the kids desserts which was just the ice cream. Even though we had been to bar numerous times to ask for them to be brought out. We booked our table for 5:15 to allow time to eat and the little ones to have dessert and get home before they got tired. We was celebrating a birthday so it was meant to be a nice treat for the family but instead it’s put us off returning or recommending especially if you have young kids

Absolutely another fabulous evening, food is fantastic service very good, quality is fantastic , ambient was very very good .Always have lovely food and. evening staff very welcoming and friendly, can't wait for the next occasion.Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We had a lovely time. There was 16 of us. We was greeted with lovely smile and showed to the table, the service at the bar when we ordered drinks and food my daughter has a food issue so the chef took time to come out and speak to us even though he was busy and said he would sort it. The food came quickly and was hot and was lovely. The waiting staff was very good and helpful. When ever we went to the bar for more drinks the lady serving us was very nice even though she had a queue and tickets to do. And when we left we had a nice goodbye. Will definitely be back again.

3 of us ate and the food was great, surf & turf, classic mixed grill and original burger. Sweets excellent also. Been here quite a few times and enjoyed each time.

Party of 10. I only booked the day before and they moved things around to accomodate us. Food arrived quickly and was very nice. Will definately coming back and will even join in the quiz :)

I have been coming to the riftswood for years now. I also worked here when my daughter was very young.I have seen managers come and go and I have always been made to feel welcome. Helen the shift supervisor is always friendly and chatty, the meals have always been enjoyable and filled me up I would recommend this place as a family friendly pub.

The Riftswood is my go to place. If you want good price decent food this is the place to go, I have been coming here for many years now, you get great value for your money, always lovely staff, can say I have never had a bad experience here. If family visit and we are going to go for food this is where we book. Great choose of menu. The app is good to down load or sign up to the email as always send good deals. I always come here with my children so definitely kid friendly.

We was greeted at the host station and accompanied to our table, staff were very friendly. We moved outside as the weather was lovely which was no issue to the staff. Food was beautiful and hot. Cannot fault the service or food quality, will definitely be returning again.
